Creative Playthings Heavy Duty Swing Hangers-Pair

My back yard is tiny, so we have to be very careful how we use the space. My 7-year-old daughter had been begging me for a swing set for years, but there wasn't nearly enough room to put in a set that would accommodate the various needs and interests of her, her friends, and her much younger brothers (who still need toddler swings). So I decided to put in a very simple wooden frame, wide enough for two swings, with these Ny-Glide hangers across the top. That way I could easily switch out toddler swings, regular swings, trapeze bars, etc. as needed, and I could also just remove the swings altogether and hang a curtain across to turn the structure into a little stage when she wants to put on some back-yard dramas. I couldn't be happier with the results! These hangers are so easy to use that I can switch out a swing in less than 30 seconds (which I am called on to do often!), they hold the swings just as securely as a traditional swing hanger, and they are super sturdy! If you want to build a swing set that has the flexibility to easily grow and change with your children, these are practically a must-have.

This is a very heavy duty commercial grade swing hanger. While this is a but pricey, I feel very safe in trusting my kids to sit in the swing.Installing this was very easy. We hung this off a wood bean on our terrace. Took about 5 mins to install. Very quick and very easy. Hardware that you need? I used a drill to make the pilot holes and then an adjustable wrench. Bottom line, while it's a bit pricey it's very well built.

I used these to hang some interior hanging chairs for my daughters. They're super heavy-duty and I'm sure they could handle any load, swingset or otherwise. If you're considering them for something other than a swingset, where their appearance matters, you should know that they're not quite as pictured: the "carabiner" is golden, not silver, as the picture shows. The base is shinier than pictured, too, but still has a rough surface. They're very industrial looking. But, aesthetics isn't what these are about ... for a swingset, they'd be awesome.

Easy to install and work very well for the swing-set my father and I built for my daughter. FYI: when installing pairs of these, be extra careful that you align the 4 screw holes along a straight line. Sounds simple, but if you've already built part of the set and are drilling upside down - it's worth the extra time to draw a straight line between them.

This worked very well for our hammock swings. Sturdy (others broke). Attached easily under our deck.

it's not like the pic..don't buy it ,,it's not white..and looks weak..don't waste your money.I really want to return it

6 months in and its starting to rust. This should not happen to something made for outside and at this price point.

For the price, I hadn't seen better that will get the job done. I was looking for something to hang children's swings from. That being said there are two things with the hangar sets I received that did not line up with the photo and do not inspire confidence. The hangars in the vendor picture appear to be uncoated cast steel, and what I received was silver painted steel (with overspray onto the carabiner). Secondly, the pulley/carabiner in the vendor photo look to be bolted in so replacement is possible. What I received was some sort of permanent fastener that was also painted over that has started to show some rust spots after only a few days outside. These may well last for a long time, but as I said before, my confidence is not inspired.
