Outdoor Interiors CD3111 Eucalyptus Adirondack Chair and Built In Ottoman

I shopped resin Adirondack chairs, found some wood was surprisingly less expensive. Ordered these based upon reviews & a few hours later thought to myself do I really want to spend the $ for these? Attempted to cancel, order had been pulled for shipment. They arrived 2 days earlier than expected. I am so happy the order didn’t cancel! The quality & craftsmanship is excellent. Assembly 20 minutes. I did coat with Teak oil, absolutely beautiful. They are extremely comfortable & love the pull out ottoman. They were a bit over my budget but have absolutely no regrets, most definitely worth the $ & ordered 2 more. 👍🏼😎

Ordered two of these and they actually came a day earlier. So happy with this purchase. Sad that I dont need more of this style chair or I would buy more of them. Outdoor Interiors brand was being sold at our specialty ACE Hardware and they were much more expensive than purchasing from Amazon. These are heavy and very sturdy. They are going to be used on our covered front porch. Came packaged neatly in a box. They came in while my husband was at work and were very easy to put together, I would say 20 minutes max on each chair. The pullout ottoman is a great feature and will either recline or you can stand it up on its legs. The wood is darker than standard teak and we really love that. In the photos the table that you see is actually teak, so you can see the difference in the colors. Bought a can of teak oil and will be giving them a good coat.

These chairs feel good to touch! The wood is tight grained and well worked so that all edges and surfaces are smooth. They were easy to assemble, they took me about 15 minutes a piece by myself. The wood seemed already finished, but the directions said to oil them before putting out in the sun and weather. I don’t know if I read the instructions wrong, or mixed up the instructions for the chairs with those for the linseed oil, or mixed the two, but I ended up with a sticky mess and had to strip them down and start all over. So… don’t do that! I’m pretty sure if you just follow the instructions for the chairs (which were well written and easy to follow), or you’re more experienced than I was with wood finishing products, you’ll end up with chairs that could become family heirlooms.

So we initially thought we'd replace our old ugly white plastic lounge chairs with high end "polywood" loungers, but after initial sticker shock we decided why not go with real wood? Thus began the next search which turned up a ton of options but most were made from pine and cypress--woods that we knew would not be able to take our intense sun/tropical environment on the water in FL. Finally we came across these very reasonably priced chairs made out of eucalyptus wood which we researched and learned will preform on par with expensive teak. Our chairs arrived today and we were able to put them together easily with the directions provided. These chairs are very sturdy--heavy duty and well made design! The foot rest comes pre-assembled with the seat portion of the chair--and moves easily in and out as desired. The icing on the cake (for my husband) is the fact that the install screws/hardware included for assembly are stainless steel--a big plus for our environment. The smoothly finished wood even looks like teak--we are thrilled with our beautiful new chairs and know they will service us for many years on our patio.

This is one of those, "if you've made it this far into the reviews and you're considering buying this chair, buy it" situations. It's an amazing chair for the price.Pros:-Gorgeous! Looks great in the yard.-More comfortable than your average patio chair, roomy/wide enough for a big person-Easy to build-Feels pretty sturdyCons:-Our two chairs came with three little splinters in the wood, which was a bummer but nothing a little sanding won't fix.-The footrest does dig into your thighs if you're using it without the extension.-The pieces don't quite connect in one place where the backrest meets the arm, but this is barely noticeable and I'm just nitpicking now.If this is your budget, if this is even a little UNDER your budget, buy this chair.

Gave it to my better half for Christmas last year. She uses it almost daily to sit outside watching our birds and squirrels.The chair is well built and easy to assemble. All the pieces are pre-drilled and the nuts and bolts go in easily without having to use a hammer to assist. Since it’s outside, I did put a coat of tung oil on it to help repel water.

We bought two of these chairs and received them just last week. So far we are really impressed with their quality, looks, and comfort. They were also really easy for my husband to assemble. We especially love the built in ottoman that easily pulls out from under the chair when we want to use them. We like how the ottoman has two options for use. I prefer to use mine without the added legs, but my husband prefers the legs up. We’d definitely purchase again!
