I must be applying this stuff wrong. Not only have i not killed any flies, but they don't seem the least bit interested in it?

It used to work well before they changed the formula. All the brands changed to a non-working form, so it must have been some ingredient that was banned. What seems to work better is: Maxforce Fly Spot Fly Bait-4 Packs BA1038 It seems similar, but you mix it with water and spray it where the flies are, and on the flies.

Does this work on cluster flies?

It will work on what ever eats it. If they won’t land on it then it will not work. Not sure what cluster flies are.

Is this the little pink granules that works really well?

As I wrote in the review….it didn’t work.

Does this have an odor? Can it be used inside?

No it does not have any odor once it is mixed with water. It does have a little smell like when you smell it inside of the package or container that it comes in.
