I’m allergic to perfumes. I used to use Cascade Lemon scent because it was the least offensive to me. But even that got strong. Plus, I wanted to use a more environmentally supportive detergent. This is wonderful - no scent and cleans everything like a dream. It’s getting hard to find in stores because so many of them are only carrying liquids or those gel packs. I won’t use either of those because the gel in them clings to dishes and glassware, in particular, leaving a taste behind that I hate. I get that it’s to provide sheeting action to prevent water spots, but I could always add that to my dishwasher if I cared. The other issue I have with gel packs is that, contrary to what manufacturers will tout, they do not completely dissolve. They usually break down into small enough bits that they’ll pass through home wastewater systems, but then they contribute to fatbergs in municipal systems (don’t even think about them with septic). Plus, they’re plastic! We have to stop putting microplastics into our water because they’re making their way back into our bodies and causing many health issues. So, I stick to powder and particularly to Seventh Generation. And when I’m done with the box? It’s paper and recyclable, so no plastic going back into the environment.

This product has no scent, which helps us avoid any unknown type of scents there are out there.We prefer the powder over any other type for to us, it seems to do a better job and you get more uses out of it whether it is doing a quick wash or a full wash.Sometimes this size is out of stock and we are forced to buy the smaller one, which for some reason, does not seem to be the same. Besides the opening on this bigger one seems stronger and it doesn’t fall everywhere when using it.I don’t love that it is owned by a big corporation, but until I find something else that checks all the boxes of what I look for in a dishwasher soap, I will continue to buy this one.

Since Finish brand dishwasher tablets started selling overly scented tabs, we decided to give this a shot. Works great in our Bosch dishwasher and our food/drinks don’t taste perfumed like it did with the Finish. We also like using the powder so we can control the amount we need for each load. As a bonus, the price per load is very economical, especially when buying in bulk.

I've been using this product for several years, and it cleans my dishes beautifully. I would have given a 5 star rating, but the price was a bit high. Also, I will be much more likely to buy from this vendor again if the larger size is made available and its price reflects a volume discount.

We have been using this product for almost 3 years and no more issues with our dishwasher.Previously, we were using pods from a different brand and they happen to clog our dishwasher. The technician mentioned not to use pods and then we switched to 7th generation as it is a cleaner product. Super happy with the purchase

The box came crushed and taped. No seal, just a lot of clear tape also around the box. I am so for recycling, but this is sketchy. What had this box been refilled with? The powder inside sticks to high heaven. Definitely NOT fragrance free!!!!

My dishes come out very clean. I'm happy with this product. I'm glad I found one that is power vs pods.

Utensils are cleaned after using this, very nice to have a product which is plastic free. The only plastic this product has when it was delivered that the product was wrapped in a very thin plastic bag but ofcourse you may avoid having big plastic boxes.

This product works extremely well for those on a septic system. Unfortunately it is becoming very expensive and hard to find.

It is used for dishwashers. Good product but rather expensive.
