Biscottelli Wafers (Hazelnut, 8.8 Ounce (Pack of 1))

I first ordered these on a moment of selfishness. I just enjoy lemon flavors. These stay fresh a long time and I do enjoy having a few with my coffee. Nice for a gift to someone!

Sadly these arrived mostly shaken apart into mostly crumbs. For this reason alone I had to give a less than favorable rating. The flavor deserved the high rating however, it was SO good, we sprinkled it on our ice cream and didn't waste a crumb. SO wish they had arrived intact!

Don't expect this particular product to live up to the packaging photo of perfectly shaped, angular delights. When I received this product, every Biscottelli, Lemon Cream Filed, Wafer Cookie had crushed, rounded, powdery corners; the remanence of which left a pile of crumbs at the bottom of the bag equal to a quarter of its contents. The finer crumbs, from all of the demolished edges of these wafer cookies, left an unattractive powdered coating on what was left. I highly recommend passing on this product.

These hazelnut wafers are delicious! I’ve been buying them for years. However, the last three times I’ve ordered them they’ve been shipped in Amazon’s famous bubble-wrap shipping bags. Those are great for books and video games and clothing pieces, but for delicate wafers that come in a bag themselves?! Come on, guys!! A little bit of common sense goes a long way when shipping items! Perhaps you could use a small box so they don’t end up crushed into billions of tiny pieces, please......

Only about 1/3 of the cookies were whole. The rest were just crumbs. I’ll use those crumbs on ice cream! Taste was great!

I love wafer cookies, and lemon is my favorite flavor. These do not disappoint. Strong lemon taste without being overpowering. I'm adding them to my subscribe and save orders.

I loved the slight crunch and distinct flavor of lemons! I gave these to my sick hubby for our anniversary! He needed a pick me up!
