I would never ever buy this product again its such a rip off the meat is not lump at all minced meat to me it has no crab flavor at all dont waste your money on this product at all totally over priced never agaian

Very shredded texture and zero taste of crab. I see that some pictures submitted. Y customers look like nice fancy lumps of crab and some pictures is just like a mush full of liquid and shreds. What I got was the latter. Not good as no taste whatsoever.

Being a veteran Gulf Coast recreational crabber, I do miss the kind of "brackish water" taste of fresh caught and boiled crabs with this purchase. However, there is an obvious lump crab texture which goes well with the variety of crab dishes cooked by our family (au Gratin, West Indies salad, etoufee, patties, etc.). If you've never caught, boiled, and picked Crabmeat, this is really a bargain!

We bought to make lump crab cakes with when my parents came to visit and although it says it’s lump I’d have to disagree. The flavor is okay but nothing like the store bought brand and there literally tiny lumps I suppose. I’m from Md originally and we’re known for Crabs and thought to give it a try and wasn’t the worst I’ve had but it lacks flavor which is weird. It states it’s lump crab meat . So I’m thinking to mix with the store lumb crabmeat next time because it tasted very bland. Price was great but this meat has no taste reall 🦀 🦀 🦀

I’ve never had canned crab before, so maybe they all taste like this, but it was pretty flavorless. 😕

The lump are small lumps, but still good enough to put into a crab salad or just to eat out of the can as a good protein source. It does have paper to keep the meat from touching the metal can itself for flavor preservation.
