Easy to use for first time gardeners!
I live in an apartment with an enclosed porch, so container gardening is my only option. These grow bags have been amazing - very sturdy, water resistant, and allow the plants to breathe. Left to right - I’m growing sweet potatoes, two types of cherry tomatoes, and spinach (I added the stakes for the tomatoes). Two weeks in and my plants are flourishing! For potatoes, be sure to save a picture of the instructions posted on the Amazon site because they aren’t in the package.

USELESS view flap and MISLEADING!!!!
The viewing panel to see how well your potatoes are growing does not have plastic or some other transparent material for you to look through. Instead it is just a velcroed piece that you can lift up. Any/everytime you lift it, dirt spills out, so the viewing flap is absolutely USELESS! I should have spent less money for a regular planter, but I had specifically purchased these (for more money) for the purpose of being able to watch them grow through some type of transparent material. Why have a flap when you can't watch the progress of growth? All you have is a useless flap that spills dirt and makes a mess when you open it. Misleading pictures and descriptions and VERY DISSATISFIED!!!!

Bag-o-potatoes!
I planted potatoes, carrots and herbs in my bags. Easy to set up, but a little heavy to move once full of dirt. I was afraid the dirt would come out of the little window, but it hasn’t been a problem so far and I like being able to check on the carrot and potato readiness for harvest. I’ll have to see how long the bags will last with multiple season use.

Portable and durable
Bags are easy to move from one location to another. I use these bags for tomatoes, peppers, onion carrots and potatoes. All of my vegetables do well in them. I've had some of the bags for 2-3 years. I empty, clean and dry the out, store away for next year. Very durable. I use them in a raised garden bed on a layer of mulch.

Disappointed
Not at all what I expected. The material is flimsy, and the opening lets out all the soil. I thought the opening would have a plastic window so I could view all...

Easy to use and able to go anywhere you want your garden to be.
Easy to fill and plant your potatoes. They are very easy to transport to any place you need them to be. I filled mine with potting soil and planted the potatoes. They set out on my patio during a rainstorm, the excess water drained out of the bag, and within three days of planting, I have small potato plants. I can't wait to open the flap and pull our new potatoes.

Works well for my potatoes and carrots
I do like these pots, I am currently growing some potatoes and carrots in them and so far so good. The walls of the pot are fairly thick, I do think these will hold up for multiple uses. The handles are a bit awkward as they're flat against the side of the pot which makes it a bit more cumbersome to move around. I have not gotten to the point of harvest so I dont know how the flap will work, but I've had no issues with it coming undone or dirt falling out.

NOT 7 gallon bags!
These are in no way 7 gallon bags. Maybe combined! I purchased these to grow potatoes in and do not see them being large enough for any amount of crop. Looking through the description today it does give the appropriate dimensions but if you are like me and just looking at the 7gallon part, you will be highly disappointed. They don’t seem like they will last but for one season. My kids were too excited about planting potatoes that we did end up planting a couple in one bag. I didn’t have the heart to tell them they will likely yield nothing. I have no idea what to use the other 3 for, maybe carrots but I doubt they will be large enough for a good crop of them either.
