How does it stack up to the jtm-45 and the 2245thw for sound and volume? will be used mostly as a practice amp but want the rich tube tone as such.

I have owned both of them and I can tell you the 1987X is Ridiculously Loud! It is way tighter than the JTM45, but just soooo loud. I gig regularly and it is too loud for avg size bars. You can play it super low and use pedals, but that defeats the purpose. The volume knob really doesn't get any louder past 1, it just breaks up more. But I promise, 1 is loud.

What's a good cabinet match for 1987X?

Marshall 1960A or 1960B would be a good option however the 1960AX or 1960BX would match the look that the 1987X has a little better. Thanks Lloyd.
