Great Product
I ordered this scanner to be able to read and clear the transmission codes on my Ford Ranger and this does all that and more. I had been reluctant to buy this level or scanner because of the cost and complexity. This was a reasonable price and does a great job. I it easy to understand and use which I really appreciated. I would certainly recommend this to anyone. You don't have to be a master mechanic to understand it and yet you get professional results.

Reads Volvo OBD codes and many other makes & models
Most OBD readers can't read Volvo, BMW, Saab OBD II codes. Before I ordered, Autel tech support quickly confirmed that the MD806 Pro would work with my Volvo C70. It works as promised and I was able to read and clear 2 SRS error codes that my mechanic didn't see with his reader. Also worked great with my Toyota Prius & Tundra. I had no problem clearing some old battery and SRS codes.Pros: rugged case, big screen is easy to see in sunlight, reads many modules other readers don't see, works with a wide range of makes & models, automatically detects VIN, good tech support. I would definitely buy again.Cons: no major concerns. virtual keyboard to name saved data files is small but works great

Great price solid unit
I ordered this after having to pay 160 dollars at a Honda dealership for them to run their scanner and tell me I needed a new sensor. The autozone scanners only work for check engine lights and my problem wasn't engine related. I used this immediately on my civic that's had 2 lights on for 2 years now after a crash. The car ran but I was annoyed by the same warnings coming on every time I turned it on. It read them all within 5 minutes and gave me a short description that helped me figure out what part I needed to replaced. What really made me happy was that it found a fault within the srs airbag system that wasn't showing on my dash. I used it again a month later (today) because of an emmisions system warning and it let me know there was a small leak in the evap system. I was able to identify the problem and order a new vent tube for my fuel system. This units saving me money the longer I have it and the case it came with was nice as well. All in all it's the best scanner with it's capabilities for the money.

All system scan tool for a great price!
The MD806 Pro is a VERY capable tool for it's price point. Good tool to have to save a trip to the local auto parts store to just pull some codes. On top of just the normal OBD2 codes, this supports most (if not all) of the systems that a vehicle has. It has a few additional features like oil reset, electronic parking brake (EPB) modes that help at home repairs, Steering angle sensor calibration, DPF functions like regeneration, and finally some battery management system functions.First, the MD806 pro comes in a very compact blow molded case that contains the OBD2 cable, the MD806 pro, a mini USB cable, and the user manual. Speaking of the USB cable, I HIGHLY suggest updating/registering the device as soon as it arrives. It added a ton of different things that were not included on the SD card out of the box. The OBD2 cable is roughly about 3 feet long, so the scanner will stay around the OBD2 port area in the car. The buttons have a very nice tactile feeling to them and have a good "click" when pressed. The plastic and rubber over molding feel really nice in the hand. Starting the unit up, I notice that it boots up right away and in under about 5 seconds. There are a host of menus to get you right into troubleshooting. The first and most useful is the "Scan" menu. This is the vehicle specific menu that will give you all of the systems. After going through the menus to narrow in on the vehicle type, I've noticed that not all makes have the ability to look the vehicle up by it's VIN. Not a problem as long as you know what engine type, transmission, etc, it has.Once the correct vehicle is chosen, you're able to read all of the systems for codes (and freeze frame data), or jump right into some live data. The code scanning presents all of the modules just fine, but feel like there could be some more work put into the font sizing and placement. Sometimes in some of the menus, it will have a full word and then the last character on the next line. Not really that big of a deal but makes it feel clunky at times and not as refined as it should be. When going through the menu to select vehicle type can sometimes take a VERY long time to time out (like a few minutes). This is really the only reason for minus a star. The live update rate is decently quick and works quite well. The only thing I wish I could do was select the PIDs that I ONLY want to have displayed. Sometimes things like long term and short term fuel trims can be on different pages, so makes it difficult to watch both at the same time. It lets you graph up to two PIDs at the same time, which is helpful but not as useful as it would be if you could select only the PIDs you want to see.Overall, I have been very pleased with this scan tool. I have only had a problem with a single GM vehicle that the OEM tool barely has any functions for. For the price this has been a nice addition to my garage and is a very nice tool when I want to quickly hook up and pull some codes. Would definitely recommend this to anyone shopping around for an all system scan tool.

Exactly what I need!
Great code reader. Simple way of making sure you don’t get ripped off. Works well with my 2013 Mazda. Check engine light came on, no indication of what the issue was. Order Autel code scanner plugged in my vehicle and it’s showed me a small leak. Did a google search and found out that it can be the issue with gas cap, checked the cap and it wasn’t closed tight. Cleared the cod with the scanner and were good to go!

Outstanding Auto Scan Function
I received the Autel MaxiDiag MD806 Pro OBD2 Scanner/Car Diagnostic Scan Tool for Christmas. After a short review of the tool I connected it to my Honda Fit which I was having issues with. The MD806's one touch auto scan function performed a comprehensive scan of all systems on the vehicle’s ECU within a matter of minutes. To my surprise the tool identified a system fault which I was able to reset using the tool and since have fixed saving me hundreds of dollars. I found the tool to be vey user friendly, easy to navigate and well laid out screens. If you're looking for a great scanner at a great price, I highly recommend the Autel MD806.

Great little tool!
Well first off let me say I am a big fan of autel products! Been in the diagnostic game for almost 30 years now. Autel is one of the fastest and user friendly tools I have used. Snap on,otc, etc…all crap. If I don’t have the oe tool autel is my second choice. For the price you can’t beat it! Free updates on all the lower end tools but got to pay for the high end ones (maxidas, etc) and still cheaper than snap on and double the functions. Keep up the good work guys!

Great scan tool, works well. The problem I have is the package was left at the front door. Anyone walking past could have stolen it. Don't think I'll be ordering anything else off Amazon anytime soon. Great scan tool though 👍
