this small V shape tool is razor sharp! cuts very clean lines! awesome! firmly set in a contoured wooden handle, comes with sturdy protective cover which is clear plastic. good for wood cutting and lino work. can't go wrong purchasing at this price point. impressed with the value/usefulness of this tool!

The gouge is exactly as pictured. The tip angle is the same. If you don't like it, regrind it. For $7, I'm very happy. These tiny tools are not made for heavy duty wood removal. If you take light cuts, this should last for a very long time. It came razor sharp and sharpens right back to razor sharp. The temper is maybe a bit soft, but did I mention... it cost $7.

Ordered a five-piece carving set from the same company and was very satisfied. Needed a very fine v-groove for Lino carving and ordered this. Just what I needed.Didn't want the throwaway interchangeable blade tools and didn't want to invest too much just starting. It feels good in my hand even when used for long periods. Stays pretty sharp and is easy to hone for super sharp.Nice carving tool for fine work.

I started off carving wood, but have transitioned to mainly linocuts. Over the years i heard so many good things about power grip, but never actually needed anything this small. I decided to purchase the ones i need as singles, and the 1.5mm small v was the first purchase. The value is great, 7 dollars is cheap for the quality. They feel great in hand, so easy to use makes doing details much better

If you are considering one of these tools, try it. Great quality for the money and a very useful and efficient tool to have. I have bought several of different sizes and shapes and like them all!

I needed something that was not in my carving kit and this fit the bill. It is sturdy and sharp.
