I am a CNA and I’ve had my septum pierced for over a month now and my boss recently made a big deal about it bc I look unprofessional so I bought these so I could still have my septum pierced and it is amazing!!! It’s a little hard to put in at first but it’s in!

The clear retainers in this pack are pretty flexible, so they are easier to get in your septum than I originally thought they would be. The only thing is that because the "arms" of the staple-shape are so short, I have to use a pair of thin pliers to hold one end while I insert it because my fingers get in the way. It actually does hurt to insert and remove because of the 90 degree angle that has to pass through your piercing, but after a few times it doesn't hurt as bad, and it will probably feel better after another few months of letting the piercing heal (my piercing is only 2 months old).Some reviewers have said that because the arms are so short, the retainer actually falls out. I have NOT had this problem and don't think I will. The width of the retainer is so small on my nose that it hugs my septum perfectly, and there is virtually no movement of the retainer when I'm wearing it. I was pierced pretty low, and even then, the retainer does not stick out of my nose when the arms are pointed down. I keep the arms pointed up because it is more comfortable, and they do not "fall" or flip down during the day. These retainers are quite sturdy and comfortable to wear once you get them in.I purchased the pack that is all clear 16g retainers because I knew the metal ones would not work for me. I was pierced with a large silver horseshoe, but when I flipped it up inside my nose, you could sometimes catch a glimpse of it in one side of my nose because of my deviated septum. I was worried that people might think I just always had boogers in my nose if they saw it on accident, so I knew I needed a clear retainer that I could wear to work instead of flipping up my horseshoe. These are definitely the answer to my problems.

I bought them for my new job I needed something to hide my septum piercing. A few things is I didnt expect them to be as small as they are you literally cant even see it even if it's not flipped up. Also, if you have a septum piercing I'm sure you've smelt that weird smell that some rings cause and this one does. I smell that weird smell frequently sometimes it's over whelming. It hasn't turned my nose any colors or caused any irritation though so all in all I can live with the smell it's easy to hide and hasn't fell out I've had one in for about 2 weeks now. I really dont know if I actually needed as many as it came with but more the marier.

This is the best way to conceal or take a break from your septum piercing. Hardly feels like anything is in there, comes with multiple, and hasn't fallen out and I've had it in days at a time. Much more comfortable and secret than flipping up a horseshoe ring.

Lost a septum piercing, and it was too expensive to replace. So I got these instead--best thing is that I don't have to flip up my ring constantly when I'm preparing for my job. One already fell out a few days, but hey they send multiples and the other one has stayed in for weeks.The arms are short and annoying, but necessary to keep the spacer in place, just wrestle that bad boy in. So much easier than flipping up and down a piercing constantly, or worrying that you FORGOT to. 👍

I recently got double nostril piercings so I wanted to momentarily retire my septum piercing without having it close back in. My first thought was to take a look at septum retainers in local piercing shops, but many of them either did not sell them or the cost of one was equivalent to the cost of this entire pack. I knew that I might find them on Amazon and that I did-- and a lot of different kinds at that. Looking into the reviews for this pack, a lot of people said that they received the wrong gauge, but I decided to take the risk regardless, since it was so much cheaper than other options. Once I received the package and opened it up, I also thought that I received the wrong gauge due to the clear color. It was only when I put the retainer up against my titanium barbell, that I saw that it was most clearly a match. Putting the retainer in was super easy and comfortable, not stiff as others have mentioned. Now that I've been wearing the retainer for a couple of weeks, I see that keeping the retainer in is as easy and comfortable as putting it in. It doesn't slip or peek out nor does it irritate my nose. And the best part is that if it falls out one day, I'll have a bunch of replacements in case.

Came in timely manner and was packaged ok. the problem is they are almost impossible to put in. I think the issue is the ends are too short and the product has square corners instead of a little rounded like picture. the plastic ones are even more impossible to put in because they bend too easily with the ends being too short to even find your hole in your nose. if they just extended the ends i would of given a better review for the metal ones. The plastic ones could also work with longer ends but with tougher plastic would make them perfect. I have used a plastic product similar to these from Hot topic and they went in easily and removed with ease because I could reach the ends. I did get in a metal one from this product and can not tell it is even in my nose as the ends don't even reach the openings of my nostrils, which in theory sounds good but it actually makes it more difficult for me to locate them and pull out.

The jewelry sits up high and the ends are short. With the clear ones, it’s impossible to see and you can’t feel it, either. I put it in about three weeks after getting my septum pierced and it’s perfect for healing piercings. It doesn’t move much, and it’s tucked out of the way so even if you blow your nose it’s not in the way. It’s been great under masks because it doesn’t stick out.
