Bought this item to add to my garage alarm system, When my alarm activates this also activates on the outside on my garage under the roof overhang, VERY LOUD and bright flashing lights, this make a great thief deterrent. in short its a really good product but be mindful it states for indoor use so you need to do what i did above or construct a little shelter for it.

Not fit for purpose and sold under false advertising
Absolutely rubbish not fit for purpose and sold under false advertising.This unit can not send voice or text messages as advertised and can never do so with out sim card connection which it doesn't even have as you as power supply used unit will flash and alarm sound and will not stop until the power supply is removed. In sort unit not fit for purpose it was bought for

does what its supposed to do
Put on exterior of Garage facia, coupled via switching relay to inside PIR alarm, its loud enough and bright enough to deter local scum, it also alerts a very big angry man with a stick who can go and greet them.
