This will be the longest screen protector review ever so I will divide it in sections so you can skip to what interests you. About me: I’ve been using PDAs and mobile computing since ~1999 and learned the importance of screen protection early on with one of my Palms. I worked in an environment with air and waterborne abrasives and screens would get ruined. My wife and children use mobile devices and I have applied hundreds of screen protectors for our family and friends. Apple Watch screen protection: The problem is the curves. Despite using some kind of miracle glass the Apple Watch gets scratched pretty easily. My wife works in an office and when we got ours I trusted that there would be no way she would need a screen protecor. Boy was I wrong! I looked at hers after a couple months and it already had some nicks and abrasions. So now everyone is on the screen protector schedule. We started with the model 3 and then gifted ours to our 2 children when the Model 4 was released so I’ve been keeping up with four of them. I have used many screen protectors and all of them “work”, but the only *problem* is that the edges will come up with the brush of a sleeve or any other friction along the edge. Always, without fail. If you can remain aware of that failing there are ways of preventing the peel, but that means living with yet another worry. I’ve managed a couple months without the peel, but it eventually shows up. Why do they peel? Probably because of low-tac adhesive and the other ones I’ve tried are thicker. That thickness gives them a bigger edge to grab and are harder to hold down on the curved section. *(I used some glass protectors with curved edges and couldn’t get a bubble-free installation) Installation: I’m not sure if alcohol will sufficiently remove all oils so I cleaned mine with a very diluted Dawn/water solution followed by a water rinse, then alcohol wipe. Shining a flashlight across the surface of the Watch will reveal any dust that doesn’t show up with perpendicular lighting. I watched the video twice and followed the application instructions exactly, (except for my additional cleaning step), and the first protector went on perfectly. It was ready instantly, no overnight curing time or incessantly keeping up with the sides and corners wanting to lift up until “cured”. Screen protectors - The Hidden Cost: The Watch is sold with fanfare regarding their special glass formulation to keep it scratch-free. If you are lucky enough to live a life surrounded by soft things and never get out in the real world then that may be enough. It wasn’t for me, my wife, or my children. So we buy screen protectors. I was going to include a list of the various protectors I’ve purchased, but it is embarrassing. Some lasted longer than others but in the end they all died of the dreaded Peel. Some lasted longer than others, but results varied even within protectors from the same package. I try to reduce variables by having a consistent application method but nothing can stop the inevitable peel. I’ve used BestSkinsEver protectors on devices in the past with great results before the tempered glass protector revolution but even they failed on the Watch. Additionally; people have different skill levels and dexterity so applying these finicky things can often end in failure. This application system greatly reduces failure if you follow the instructions. Another “cost” is application time. With the other protectors I have to wait until the end of the day and spend time applying and tending to the watches. With my very first installation of these I was done in under 10 minutes and popped the Watch back on my arm. Subsequent applications should be under 5 minutes. Conclusion: These may eventually peel off like all the rest, I will update accordingly. But even if they do I will continue to use them because they are the best of the MANY screen protectors I’ve used if only for the ease of installation. I am confident these will greatly reduce “The Peel”, but time will tell. Because these are noticeably thinner than all of the others I’ve tried it’s hard to tell that there’s even a screen protector on the Watch! Sensitivity is fine, nothing weird about the surface, I am so happy to have finally found these because it’s been a pain in the neck keeping up with these darn things. Even if they only last as long as the others the cost is about the same but installation is a breeze. I will definitely update as time goes by. I am writing in an effort to share my experience with this frustrating aspect of Apple Watch ownership. Update 04/02/2020 - It's been a little over a month and I think I'm gonna put on a new one. I could probably get another month out of this one but it's getting chewed up. I work machine maintenance and am always scraping my watch across something. It's held up admirably and even a section on the side that I've scraped and lifted doesn't want to pop up like the thicker screen protectors do. My wife's looks as good as new, this may be a record!

I just purchased the new series 6 Apple Watch, and with how much I bump my wrist / watch into things over time, I thought it would be great to purchase a screen protector to help protect the watch face from scratches. I was a bit skeptical at first, since with the small screen size of a watch face (relative to a phone screen), and with the curved edges, I wasn't sure how visible a screen protector would be, and how well it'd stick to the curved edges. I didn't want something that would be very visible. I am very pleased with this purchase. After applying, it is barely visible. It feels like I have nothing on my watch, I struggle to even find the edges of the film. No bubbles at all. The application process was definitely key, and I was really impressed with all the tools they included with the package to help the installation. Given the small size of the watch, there is a small foam sticker to hold the phone in place so that it makes it easier to apply the film on. They also link you to a very detailed instructional video, which I HIGHLY recommend you watch. It helps a lot with how to apply everything smoothly without bubbles. All in all, highly recommend this film. In addition, the package included 6 films so it's also great value. If I ever need to reapply a film later on, I have plenty to go back to.

Update post: 10/30/20 These screen protectors are the best I have used! 6 to a box and the price point is great and they last a super long time! The first box I wasted two because I was getting frustrated at the bubbles and now I know if you follow the instructions and apply correctly, the bubbles will go away after a few days. I am currently on my second box and have only used one out of it. They typically last around 3-4 months before I change them due to normal wear and tear. It’s inevitable that you are going to bang and hit your watch because life happens! But the edges have yet to curl on any of them! They will get scuffed and scratched, which is a good thing because it’s not the actual glass taking the brunt! I personally change them out for mostly cosmetic and personal preference. I could see them lasting 6mos if you don’t mind the scuffs and scrapes. These are great and almost completely unnoticeable. ***EDIT*** I originally noted that there were a few bubbles that would not squeegee out but after a few days the bubbles are gone! I’m actually surprised, but pleasantly surprised! So far it is holding up and there is no curling of the edges or crazy waves. Unless I told you, you would never know it’s on there. It’s smooth, and looks just like the glass! I really hope it holds up over a longer period of time! These are fairly easy to apply and I did take the advice from other reviewers and watched the application video first....I highly recommend watching the video because there is a lot of steps to go through. They do seem to be smoother and adhere better than the brand I previously bought for my old watch and you do not have to keep the surface wet to apply these. My only complaint is that I had to waste 2 because the bubbles would not squeegee out despite following the instructions exactly and therefore it gave an ugly appearance and as anyone knows if you’ve had experience putting these on, you can only move it around and take it off and reposition it so many times before it becomes stretched out and unusable! Thankfully on the 3rd try I was able to get an almost perfect application but there are a few stubborn bubbles I can not get out, as you can see in the picture, but I guess nothing’s perfect and is definitely better than having no protection! I highly suggest getting a screen protector like this to save your watch face, especially if you’re like me and don’t really care for the cases. I can’t give a rating for durability as I’ve only had it on a short time.

UPDATE: ONE MONTH LATER 12/17/20 My first film protector lasted exactly one month which I would say was fair. Since I sleep with my watch my blanket rubbed on it and it lifted on the edge and had blanket fuzz. I went ahead and installed my second and went off without a hitch. This time though I got that line in the middle that everyone is talking about. You really only see it if you put it under a light and it does not interfere with my watch face. When you look at your watch to read something for some reason I don't see it. The seller states will go away in a few days. It's not a deal breaker at all. I estimated that each protector would last about a month so I will be buying more in 6 month unless I find something better. I like this product because it minimal, I already tried a silicone cover it was to bulky for me. Reading the mixed reviews I took a chance on this product and I have to say I'm completely satisfied. I installed it on my new Series 6 watch 44mm screen and it came out flawlessly. I kept playing the video over and over while I emptied the contents out of the box to make sure kit was complete and it was. During installation I put video on in the background and paused it at each step to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Honestly, I didn't want to waste any of these films and I didn't. My first attempt was successful and was flawless. If I can get one month out of each of these films then this product is more than worth it. My last watch was the Series 3 and I never put a protective film on it and it does have tiny little scratches but nevertheless, it functioned as it should've. The bad reviews about streaks or lines in the middle concerned me and maybe these folks received a bad batch. I will most likely reorder when the need arises. Make sure you watch video or you'll end up installing incorrectly.

Since my iphone 3gs I have been loyal to the zagg invisible shield, (non glass, self healing membrane), one and done type of item, if you know, you know. When I bought the watch that was my go to item and at first I loved it. I am an electrician and wear my watch everyday, and I am also applying and removing a bumper almost daily, needless to say it takes some abuse. I found myself replacing the zagg every three months or so at $15 each so I started looking for something different. I put the first one of these on about a month ago and so far so good, in fact, it is great! It's clear, durable, and lasts, I am excited to have a good product that holds up to my demanding needs. One corner started coming up and I cleaned it with a wet wipe and re-stuck it to the watch, that was about two weeks ago, I followed the video tutorial and have had no bubbling whatsoever,(just the corner i was able to correct by cleaning underneath with a wet wipe). This is not the self healing material and I am starting to see scratches on it, but for me it has been a much more cost effective solution while also providing a crystal clear view of my watch screen for more than a month now, (I still have five left and the scratches are hardly noticeable with the screen on). Love it! If my watch outlasts these 6 I will definitely order more.

This cover is great for the Apple Watch and I highly recommend it...but you MUST watch the install video prior to trying and watch it fully before trying to follow along. It’s very detailed so you don’t want to miss anything. During installation the process has a few different fail safes to ensure you don’t get anything under the glass. This is great because it’s SUPER easy for a piece of dust to land right after you’ve wiped down the screen, but they way they have you do it almost guarantees you won’t have this issue. Well done on the product development! The cover also goes over the entire screen and then allows you to put on a bumper id you want. I can’t even tell there’s a screen protector it’s that good. I also like that they provide 5 protectors in case you mess up or one does get scratched somehow. Highly recommend this product! UPDATE: 10/21/2021 I STILL highly recommend this product and the company. I had an issue with a pack that came in and they immediately sent me a replacement. Since I created this review, I've reapplied many new protectors to my watch as the screen gets scratched from random things (me squeezing my arm under the refrigerator to grab something, scratching my watch face, fixing things around the house and tools pressing up on it and ripping, etc). This is not to knock the protector, it's actually doing its job! This isn't something that is supposed to last forever, it lasts until something happens to it and then you replace it. That's the point. I again highly recommend this product to anybody looking for a watch face protector.

Due to my clumsiness, not even 2 days after getting my new Apple Watch I gave it a small scratch (mostly superficial). I was super worried that I might do more damaged to it. Then after looking up some screen protectors I went with this product. One of my worries was that it might show too much. To my surprise after installing it not only did it not show at all, I could not even see the small scratch I gave it! My watch looks like new still and it's protected!! I would definitely recommend and buy again!! Things to look out for: Definitely watching the installation video for even attempting to install the protector. The package does not bring "instructions" so it might be a bit difficult to install at first. It's good that the package brings 6 of these protectors because I definitely needed an extra one after attempting to install it before watching the installation video. Also they gave me a free watch band or I hope they did. I'll update after I get it or don't. ::Update:: So a little over a month after I bought these, one has already come off. It must have rubbed against something because it was torn (screen is fine) and eventually just got a bunch of air bubbles which my girlfriend made me change it eventually cause started to look really bad. Thanks to the extra screen protectors I was able to swiftly put on another one. However it does make me think that the reason it brought a bunch is because they don't last long. Also update on the "free gift".. I haven't received it. Overall bringing down my initial review from 5 stars to 3.

These things are amazing. They are quite easy to install and are almost invisible on the the watch. It is good that you get 6 of them because they don’t last very long. I had one last 3 weeks and the next one few off after a couple of days. The stickiness is good but if debris or durst get into the corners it falls of very quickly. It’s not that that big of an issue because you get so much. Another thing that bugged me was that the screen protector didn’t reach the edge of the screen. It still bend around the screen but there was about a millimeter that was still uncovered. Overall the screen protector is unnoticeable. The screen does feel different and you may see some distorted reflections but other than that it is perfect. The gel is incredibly thin and still protects very well.

Very easy to install! The adhesion is great! The self healing ability is great! After installation you wont even feel that this is there! In touch also there is no interference! As you see in the photos I have a protective case at the same time! After a couple of weeks because of the case, it lifted at one corner but even then with attention I could stick it back without issues! Eventually, with attention ( I am a scale modeller) I did cut with a sharp blade that corner to save the protector! There is a tiny bubble left because of the continuous lifting! As you can see even like this it’s invisible! People who claim that this product is trash they just do not know how to clean properly, remove dust and the apply correctly! The product is very soft and “hugs” the screen well! I was impressed! Btw I use LK screen protectors for my iphone and I am very satisfied!

Like : - The Packaging was neat and contained everything I needed, 6 screen protectors! will last anyone for a while. - I like the overall material of the screen protector. I did a scratch test on one of the protectors just to see how durable it was and if it would go through and leave a mark on the actual watch screen. To my surprise, there were some visible line marks, but the actual screen didn't have any marks on it, after removing the screen protector. A big plus for me from experiences with screen protectors for Iphones and Samsung phones screen protectors. - The tutorial video to install the screen protector they provide was very simple and straightforward, nothing difficult about the process. My first attempt and second attempt was very fluid, I didn't need to scrap any of the protectors at all. Dislike: My only dislike is that after a few days, there tends to be a line of dust stuck to the edges of the screen protector, but can be easily cleaned away. I would recommend this to my friends and family that have an Apple watch and would definitely purchase this product again in the future. Bought for my Apple Watch Series 4 - 44mm

Cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap, cheap junk. To begin with, on installation, the protectant film would not separate to apply to my watch face in this step where you peel off label number two. I had to manually take a knife blade to get it to begin to peel. Needless to say this made for a less than perfect installation. I gambled buying something so cheap because it’s not worth my time to return them. A manufacture or seller is willing to contact me, I would be more than happy to destroy these right in front of their eyes over a FaceTime call or any other media. Then you could send me my wasted money back. It wasn’t worth the time to file a return, print up a label, and then go drop this off at a post office. It was worth my time to hopefully influence people to consider a different product.
