I ordered this case to display a knife made from semi precious gemstones, charoite and jade. The case did not accommodate the unusual knife and I returned it with measurements of the knife. The manufacturer designed special pedestals and sent them with a replacement case. I am quite satisfied with the treatment I received from the manufacturer and the resulting case.

It looks like it was custom made
It looks like it was custom made. It's neatly cut and sturdy. The clear case top stays on top of the black base just fine, it isn't loose or wobbly. I use it to display a buck knife that was autographed and it doesn't cheap it out. Very cool case!

Really nice case
Really nice case. Fits both my knives perfectly. Quality is excellent. Why not 5 stars? 5 stars is perfect and this is just shy of perfect. Would like to have seen some way to latch the clear part down to the base like small screws to keep someone from opening the case easily (yes I know the screws would be visible in the clear plexiglass, but there are tasteful ways to disguise it. But otherwise an excellent case. Best one I've found out there.

nicer than expected
I got a knife as a gift and since I'm not a knife carrier, I wanted to display it. I got this case and it fit my knife perfectly. Folks at work thought I had the case custom made. Very well made.

Perfect, even for a shorter BK-2
Perfect, even for a shorter BK-2. The stands for the blade and the handle are clear, so it seems to suspend the knife. And it protects from dust, what more could you want?
