I just opened this package, so these are my first impressions.1) Lining has been cut (see picture). Looks like someone accidentally put scissors to this. There are two cuts side-by-side. So the waterproof lining is not going to work well for me.2) I bought this to hang behind my console, so my kids can use it for trash. I wish this came with instructions because mine seems awkward. I first thought to extend the strap to its longest length and wrap it around the console. The strap just reaches the farthest length of the console, there is no way it can wrap completely around. Then I made it the shortest length, opened the console cover and wrapped it around the joint. It hangs a bit loose and the console cover does not close easily with the strap in the way.3) It doesn't retain it's shape. It collapses upon itself so if I want to put trash in there I'd have to use two hands, 1 to opened the trash and the other to put trash in. It needs a sturdy bottom to keep the trash body open (or better, a sturdy trash liner that would go up the sides too. See pic, I made my own cardboard cut out to keep the thing open.4) I don't like putting trash directly into trash. It's another item in the car I would have to wash/clean. I was hoping I could use a grocery bag to line the inside of this so I can just take out the bag when full and replace with an empty bag for the next use. The grocery bag is obviously too big for this. The bag interferes with closing the cover and also velcroing it close.5) this has a strap on the bottom with a hook on it. it's used to fold up the unit when not in use. Unfortunately, when in use (and one would think it would be in use all the time once it's been bought) the strap just hangs there on the floor. I could roll it up and stick it into the side pocket, but that defeats the point of the side pocket for extra storage like a water bottle. I could leave it on the floor, but the kids step on it and make it dirty in no time. Plus it's a tripping hazard. I'll fiddle with it, maybe I can strap it around the other straps somehow.Overall, not impressed with this item, but I'll give it a shot.

I bought this product to use as a trash receptacle in our family van, and I'm really pleased with it. It has a very classy appearance, and it tucks nicely behind the center console. The strap is long enough to let me wrap it around the front passenger's seatbelt bar so that it won't go flying. Because it's a soft design, I can squish it down when I need to slide the console open. The inside is vinyl and leakproof, but to facilitate emptying it, we're lining it with grocery sacks. (I have extras sitting inside it, underneath the current bag.) As the driver, I especially like that I don't have to mess with the lid in order to put something in the trash. This is a simple way to cut down on the mess and clutter in a family vehicle.

This product I think is really nice to have in the car. This really creates a great place to store your garbage. I really hated just randomly throwing my empty bottles or stuff onto the floor and clean it up later. Although this does not store much it can store the basic garbage like cans, small food wrappers and such. The flap is tough where it will not flop back and forth but you can easily just push garbage into it. It doesn't not exactly keep smell contained so if you are throwing food into it you may have smell coming from The inside lining is water resistant from what I can tell throwing food into it, BUT I would still use a plastic bag in case you are putting any kind of food particulates in. I would not recommend just leaving it inside the trash. It may stick and then be hard to wash out. Best thing to do is just get a small trash bag and put it into the holder in my opinion. This device can be installed in your back seat or front seat. It has bindings that you can easily install with ease and do not have to worry about it falling off. It can hold a good amount of weight aside from pulling on it excessively. Overall this device is working pretty well and I would recommend it to keep your car clean.

Asked for refund. It appears they are running a promo to try and get good reviews with a promise of a free gift—I’m not sure, I didn’t go that far on the screen.This item would function as a trash can. I had my doubts about it as a cooler but gave it a shot. The material certainly isn’t good quality. It’s probably better quality than Wal-Mart but not worth the price in my opinion. This stuff can be made dirt cheap.Also, there is no way to close the top—so even if the cooler doesn’t leak and ostensibly would keep things cold, it would lose its coolness to the top that would function well as a garbage can (albeit a rather flimsy one). It would hold Kleenex’s from all the tears you cry about overspending.

So it is a good and well made product, but i was a little surprised at how small it actually is, i know the dimensions are mentioned, but still i ddnt visualize the size until i installed it. So i say go for the bigger option. Another thing that is kind of annoying is that the plastic piece that allows for the length adjustment is stitched real close to the bag, and would have been much better fo my case to be further away so that the bag can be tightly installed to the plastic rear center trim where that adjustment plastic piece would hide away behind the plastic trim and not stick out and keep the bag from butting up to the console trim.. hope that makes sense..

I was looking for a garbage can for my suv that would be out of the way but still convenient for the driver to put in trash. This fit the bill nicely. For my SUV, the only problem is that the bin covers the air vents for the backseat passengers so I do have to adjust it. I have not cleaned it as I add a small plastic bag inside so that all I have to do is remove and replace once full. The only complaint I would make is that I wish it was a bit more sturdy. I do find it collapses when less than half full. Still - would buy again if needed.

It never fails. When my family take a road trip, the car becomes a trash pit and I get the chore of cleaning it up. I bought this hoping it would solve that problem. This is wonderful! It is leak proof and cleans up easily with glass cleaner and paper towel. A plastic grocery bag fits in this easily. I’m glad I purchased this!
