Obviously arrived folded...being a round hat it was folded in quarters to make the product smaller for shipping.It was wrapped in clear plastic packaging shrink type wrap with the shipping label attached. No secondary packaging.The material was thicker and heavier than expected. Not flimsy at all. So there were some creases. Needed to lay flat for a bit.There is still some memory left (from being folded up) in the material...so when wearing the hat it feels like it droops to one side (dependent on how the hate is worn. I could turn the hat to more to the side. But the neck strap is now in your face and back of the head, and not to the sides of your head as intended.The wide brim kept me cool, the sun off my neck and face and out of my eyes. Overall, this was a great purchase. I like it A LOT! Also really like the color.

I bought this Huamulan sun hat because 1. of its wide brim -- six inches, and 2. it's advertised that its hard brim will not droop and obstruct your view.That's mostly the case. But it arrives folded, and thus it has hard creases in its brim (see my photos).This is not a bug, but a feature. It actually comes with instructions on how to remove the creases. I followed the instructions, and the brim was flattened somewhat. The creases are no longer so pronounced.But still, it's not the pristine hard brim look you see in the promotional photos.I still like its wide brim. I only wish it was as pristine as in the promotional photos.

The truth is.. That sun isnt nice. It does a number on your skin and if you dont watch yourself? It can get bad. I have seen 3rd degree burns that i wouldn't ever expect to see on anyone. Keeping yourself covered from the harmful rays is better. If people talk about how goofy you look? They wont understand til they are hurting abd your fine. To me? Thats fine. Say what they may. Im not suffering and they can talk all they want.

Exactly what I was looking for with an extra wide brim. I was a little surprised when I opened the package, because they had folded the hat up, which caused some creases. But as they suggested, I ironed the hat with a regular steam iron and it took all of the creases out. Now the hat fits flat in a suitcase and it works great.

Fits nice. Keeps the sun off. Looks kinda goofy and won't hold it's shape. I earr when I'm out working in the back yard and nobody can see me :-)

These hats are great! Biggest complaint I’ve seen on the reviews is that they are too floppy, and creases from shipping. On the outside edge of the brim there is an opening. You just carefully run the wire all the way around it, and viola! You have a hat with a stiff brim. Look on YouTube, “how to stiffen a boogie hat”, for a video tutorial. I also got canvas wax and put 3 coats of cobblers choice canvas wax to waterproof the brim. Hope this helps!

It is both cotton and polyester making it feel natural. For its size it is not heavy.The brim holds fast without sagging. You can use it both asa sun hat and rain hat. I did cover the top with scotch guard.I definitely would purchase again. I like the camo design.

I like the wide sun protection that this hat offers. It gives plenty enough shade to protect the neck and face completely. The hat doesn't stay on well in the wind. In those cases, I had to secure the rope tightly against by chin, which was a little uncomfortable, but manageable. The hat is quite light and airy, which helps keep my head cool. It took a few wears to completely soften the folds in the hat from shipping, but that was easy enough.

è largo, comodo, ripara il sole che è una meraviglia, sta fresco anche il collo e più riposati gli occhiavevo dubbi sul fatto che viene spedito piegato in 4, invece si raddrizza comodamente, non so come fa a stare dritto dopo aver viaggiato piegato ma ci staha due nemici. uno è il vento: se non ci fosse il laccio sotto il mento, sarebbe sempre per aria. l'altro è l'ingombro: abituati alla misura della vostra testa, all'inizio non passerete neanche dalle porte

I don't think my head is exactly large but the hat is very tight so watch out for that. Otherwise it's good, a good quality hat.

Not much to say about it now, I haven’t had the chance to wear my new Cap. Looking forward to wear it this Summer. It looks vey good but needs a bit of pressing before I wear it under the sun!!!
