PETZL, Strato Vent Hi-Viz Helmet, Yellow

I use this for caving, and it has done its job of protecting my head while also doing its job of making me visible to others in my group. The head-circumference adjustments are good. The light band catcher thingies work, and I prefer those to the front-mount plastic bracket doodad. The chin straps are adjustable enough. Minor annoyance is that water pools somewhere in the hat after cleaning it no matter how I orient it, so it needs flipping a few times while drying, but I haven't found one that doesn't do that. Highly recommended.

I spent a fortune trying to find something more comfortable than a regular hard hat.Guess what? I wore this uncomfortable rattle for a week tossed it in the back of the truck and went back to my old hardhat. The helmet also has a design flaw , you cant use the shield if the headlight is equipped but thats ok for $39 more they will sell you a two dollar piece of adhesive plastic that lets you mount the light above the shield where it belongs.
