I bought this towel to take with me on a trip to Europe where I was staying in hostels. I used it ahead of time at home and washed it a few times, and once I got used to the different texture I was happy with it. It worked GREAT for traveling. It's soft and absorbent, but it's also lightweight. It dries overnight when hung up, packs small, and stays soft. As an added bonus, it's big enough to act as an extra blanket if needed, and it's attractive enough to look nice as a pashmina-style wrap. I have continued to use the towel as my main bath towel after I returned home. I'll probably end up buying more for my house.

These towels take a little getting used to. Yes, at first they are not very soft, and do soften with each wash. They are a good size, and well made. The fabric is nicely woven and a nice color. I had gotten another Turkish towel from Amazon a few years ago and wish I could find that kind again, but these are ok. I actually use one as a summer blanket or throw. Just right to take off a chill. These are nice quality.

Even though they are really lite they keep you warm, used it around the camp fire kept me warm but still allowed a gentle breeze so I didn’t overheat either. They aren’t crazy soft but I also didn’t wash mine yet. Because of the weather I haven’t used them for my water sports yet, I can’t wait though. I love how big they are too. This towel is my favorite!!! I’m glad I got two of them!!!!

These are pretty and fast drying, but not super absorbant. Also the tassels came undone much faster than some other turkish towels I have (and my other set gets a LOT more use) Also the logo is kind of prominent and the seams are faded - not huge deals, but for $20 a towel, I'd love to not have those issues.

I received two, and one was a slightly different shade of blue despite the label being the same (so not sure if the dye lot was that different or the towel was mislabeled). These were for outdoor/lake use so I just kept them. VERY strong odor coming off of them which took several washings to remove. Otherwise, they seem fine for my purposes.

It's nice, it's soft, it looks great, but I expected for it to be thicker. Not sure if I misread the original description, but it won't be used as a towel, but possibly to go under a yoga mat in grass or on a beach chair in addition to a towel. Still, one more thing to carry.

I purchased this large towel to use on sunloungers at the pool. However between the 5" worth of tassels and the substantial shrinkage after the first wash in cold water, the actual towel is barely larger than a regular $3 towel. Ultimately I am regretful of this purchase.

I washed it twice as others have suggested to make it softer and more absorbent, but it just doesn't absorb anything. And even though I washed and dried gently, it shrank a lot. This thing isn't usable. I'm so disappointed in the purchase.
