Excellent quality, good value for the money, durable the leads are resistant to pressure is versatile use it for drawing and writing.

I really like these. They are high quality, not breaking easily and writing smoothly as they should be writing. Pentel is one of those firms that you rely on no matter what for high quality staples.

Actually made of carbon and binder but is truly outstanding. I prefer the 2B because it is a little darker than B which I also like almost as well. The acid test: I will buy again.

I ordered this lead for use in my graphgear 1000 .5mm pencil. It works fine in the pencil and you get a good amount of lead for the price. I find that this lead is a little bit more brittle than I would like. I hate writing and having the lead snap out of the end of the pencil. Perhaps switching to a softer B or 2B lead would fix this but because of the wide use of scantron test sheets I recommend sticking with the HB for students. The only other issue I have is the packaging. This item comes with 12 tubes of 12 sticks of lead. I just feel that the lead could be packaged differently or more efficiently to reduce waste.

Fits perfectly in my .5mm pencils. Lead doesn’t smudge easily and is sturdy enough that it doesn’t break easily.

I have tried some imitations, but they did not produce the darkness of lines that I wanted and were more prone to breakage. (obviously, 0.5-mm leads are less sturdy than 0.7- or 0.9-mm leads)
