Beautiful book
This book is so beautifully written and laid out I can't begin to put into words, the food pictures are amazing quality. The recipes are easy to follow and don't take long at all to prepare, plus you don't need tons of kitchen tools either. It has fantastic advice for your body type and taste, even yoga exercises. Every dish I've made from this book came out fantastic and tasty.It is one of my favorite books of recipes, it is so much more than just a cookbook, to call it a cookbook will do it a disservice.10 delicious stars!

Very helpful book

A BOOK SPECIFIC FOR CLEANSING
For those who commented that the recipes take too long to cook, you should know that this book explains specifically how to do an Ayurvedic cleanse. You can eat Ayurvedically with less preparation without a cleanse. For those who commented that the recipes are too bland, that's true for any type of cleanse. You need it. Outside of a cleanse, one should eat according to your Ayurvedic dominating dosha. For that, get Susan Weis-Bohlen's book "Ayurvedic Beginner's Guide".

Great info and appealing writing style.
As I was reading this book I realized how intense this cleanse would be and although the book was well written, it should have a disclaimer that you needn't waste your time unless you're retired, have a full-time chef or personal assistant or work from home with massive amounts of flexibility in your schedule.I'd recommend this book more as informational reading than for practical application unless you have 6 hours each day to devote to following the agendas outlined, including cooking every meal fresh. Maybe it's designed for cultures where offices close for lunch and you can go home to cook your meal, and take a brisk walk for 20 minutes before finishing your work day. Not sure about that. Definitely not practical for people who are working 40+ hours a week and eat 2 meals at their desk. But it was informative and the science behind Ayurveda is compelling.

Love this book!
I absolutely love this book! Everything is easy to understand & the recipes look delicious. I ever had my husband looking into what his dosha was. So thankful Kerry Harling created this book.

Love how easy and simple the recipes. Some ingredients difficult to find and we get confused on how to figure out the Dosha.

The Ayurveda Helper!
This book supports and justifies this new journey I am on with my husband thanks to Kerry and her desire to improve lives. I recently finished my first cleanse and I can say I have finally found my answer to health and weight control. Kerry's book introduces the foundations of Ayurveda and shows you how to live it with live changing routines and mouth watering recipes that anyone can make! Thank you Kerry for putting it all together in a neat little package!
