DasMarine Universal Inboard Fiberglass Swim Platform Under Mount Fold Down 3 Step 316 Stainless Steel Ladder with Two Handrails(Mounting Screws are Included)

The platform construction and stainless are very sturdy no doubt. The platform was pre-drilled just fine, but the actual ladder mounts to the platform were a little off to the side (only reason for 4 stars). I didnt think much of this when I assembled it but the ladder would rub the Handle on one side when flipping it to put in the water. I simply pulled the handle over a half inch or so when marking my holes for drilling to allow clearance. Nothing crazy, holds me without question at 205lbs. It states 400lb capacity and I could easily see 300-350lbs on mine without too much worry.I did however find the hardware for mounting to the transom too large as my transom was only about 3/4"-1" thick on the sides of motor. I simply just drilled a quarter inch hole and put large washers on both sides and used a nut on the back with marine sealant all over the bolt and under washers.I would try to get as many machined bolts/nuts installed instead of the provided 2" lags if u can reach the back personally.. especially if you plan on putting some big boys on it..I would definitely buy this again.

Our old stairs had snapped off and I had been scouring the internet and our local marine store for a replacement without spending a fortune but still wanting to good quality. This product did not disappoint, in fact is surpassed my expectations and is constructed better then ones at double that price. Easy to assemble, just get yourself some marine grade sealant if it does not line up with previos stairs. The quality and durability is outstanding and I love that the platform is textured to avoid slipping. These are amazing!!

This product was the right choice for my need to bring heavy people the opportunity to get into the boat right from any water depth. And also was easy to install.
