It’s a fantastic multimeter it’s easy to use and is great with its accuracy as far as I’ve checked with other meters and other manufactures the leads it comes with are okay but with a bit of used it is worth it to purchase better leads I’ve used this meter almost daily with schooling and personal use for over two years and it hasn’t skipped a beat but can blow fuses but they are easy to replace and not expensive

I was a bit leery of purchasing this as it is supposedly "gray market" not intended for US sale, but I was able to register it on my Fluke account with no problems. In terms of quality it seems just as solid and as well-made as the rest of my Fluke multimeters. Not much else to say, it's a Fluke. If the specs and features of this model meet your requirements, I have no qualms recommending you to buy it.

great meter. very accuate and durable. only cons are no auto voltage reading, which is okay if you know what your looking for, but may take a little guess work for trouble shooting ac/dc. found this same meter in lowes (kudos to lowes) for a very comparable price. this is def my goto meter for trouble shooting hvac. but if you want to shop brick and motar stores hit up lowes.

It works fine. New product, but model is several years old. Does what I need to do, and much cheaper than the Model 179. It isn't as good as a 179 though, but for building control work it is working fine for me.

The picture is of the box my meter came in. Notice all of the text is in English. I was also able to go to Fluke.com and register my meter so I'm assuming the 1 year warranty shown on the box is also valid. Though it's a Fluke and I don't expect to ever need the warranty. Very happy with this purchase.

I work at an aerospace company, testing avionics components. I was looking for a meter to replace our ageing Fluke 87s. We use the 87 because it has a low voltage output in resistance mode. This is required when doing passive resistance measurements on signal paths which contain active components. A meter, such as an 87-5, or 189 has a voltage output high enough to turn-on semiconductor junctions, giving an incorrect reading. This meter has a max voltage out of about 600mV.

I did a lot of reading and research before I made this purchase. I was looking for a multimeter to figure out the parasitic drain in my car and also for residential use. I wanted the best but I hesitated to spend $400 on Fluke 87 or $300 on 177 or 179. Then I came across 17B+. It has temperature function and mA function that you only find in Fluke that is twice the cost with the same build and quality. I think this the best value in Fluke.

Meter arrived slightly earlier than expected and works beautifully. As per other customers the manual is in Chinese but this is not an issue as the labeling on the meter is in English and most people purchasing these tools already know what/how the functions are. In any case it is very easy to find an English manual pdf if needed on the Internet. For the amateur electronics hobbyist this meter provides excellent value and can also serve as a well rounded meter for most homeowners for checking things like switches, outlets, continuity, temperature (very handy for checking efficiency ofyour water heater ;-) as well as for automotive applications. Should be no hesitation in purchasing this device Must also mention this seller was very proactive and diligent in personally following up to advise on the status of the shipment and after receipt. Would definitely buy from him again!
