Saving Emma the Pig

The story tugs at your heartstrings! It illustrates the compassion, caring, and how each of us are all connected. The illustrations are exquisitely done. Although it's based upon a true story, it has whimsical moments of the piglets taking over the farmer's home while Emma the pig regains her health. I hope there are more stories to follow! (I went back and ordered 5 more copies to gift to local school libraries!)

This is a very sweet story about empathy and compassion. My family( including my daughter-in-law ) loved it. The illustrations are precious!

What a beautifully illustrated book! I bought this for my grandchildren who live on 16 acres - and have a lot of animals - but not a pig ..... yet - LOL. I gave them your beautiful DVD - "The Biggest Little Farm" as well, but thought it would be so nice for the grandies to have a book to remember a significant and incredible life lesson about perseverance, determination, love - to name a few!! Thank you for making the time to write this book. I hope you will have a lot more stories about some of the animals and insects etc. on your amazing Farm.

Adore this book! My granddaughter is 3 and said she's changed her name to Poodie Roo, a character from the book!

Great bedtime story especially after we watched the video, Biggest Little Farm.

This is a beautifully written book and the illustrations are gorgeous!! Got it for my granddaughter for Christmas, she wants to be a veterinarian, she will love this book. Congrats to the author and the beautiful Apricot Lane Farm.

My granddaughter loves this book. I am a fan of The Biggest Little Farm. She watched the movie with her daddy whom was given the movie by me as a gift. I highly recommend getting the book. Beautiful illustrations as well as beautifully written.

Wir haben auf Prime den Film "Unsere große kleine Farm" gesehen und fanden ihn einfach wunderbar! Dieses zugehörige Buch haben wir uns dann aus den USA bestellt. Die Geschichte kennen wir und finden sie sehr süß (wir lieben Emma <3), die Zeichnungen sind allerdings nicht unbedingt für (kleine) Kinder geeignet, ich finde das Buch / die Bilder oft recht dunkel.

We as a family have watched the movie quite a few times, it’s such a wonderful film! then decided to get this book for the kids. Well done John!
