Fun, Fun, Fun.
I got this toy for my 5 yr old nephew and 3 yr old niece; they loved it! It is so much fun to jump on the air bladder and watch the foam "rocket" fly ("rocket" is in quotes because it's really a projectile, not a rocket). As an educational tool, it's great for teaching concepts of trajectory, laws of motion, drag, air pressure, and distance, but not a great rocketry tool. The projectiles aren't self-propelled like a rocket- an important technical distinction. The projectiles really do go high (I'd estimate 100'-150'), which is high enough to appreciate but not so high to lose sight of or get blown far away by a light breeze. I was expecting 400' high flights, but after reading the fine print, it says "travels up to 400'", which is different from shooting 400' into the air. But these technicalities didn't distract from the fun. This toy was easy to set up, survived hard tugs at the air hose, hundreds of stomps on the air bladder, and pulls and twists on the "rockets". Having six rockets was also an advantage because you could fire six shots between retrievals and it would still be fun if you lost a couple. It's also great exercise for the kids to run after the rockets to retrieve them. I would highly recommend this toy.

Original Extreme Rocket, Great Fun
This was a hit with grandchildren aged six to thirteen. Fun for both boys and girls. The thirteen year old girls had only a passing interest but the boy that aged enjoyed both the challenge of getting it really high and helping the younger set of boys and girls play with it. The six to ten year olds seemed to love it the most. It worked best on a concrete surface (sidewalk). It didn't get the 400 feet advertised so don't expect that however it got really high. It easily went 20 to 60 feet and sometimes higher. You would expect the heaviest kid to get it the highest, but not so. One 35 pound child could jump two footed on it and shoot it fifty feet up! The stand is flimsy the way it snaps together but two bread twist ties secured the connection and it worked great thereafter. Great fun and a great show for the adults!

Unusual Fun, but could be higher quality. (I'd pay for higher quality)
Pros:1. An unusual toy that draws crowds.2. Easy to set up and use.3. Keeps the interest of all ages.4. Can go REALLY high if you stomp hard enough! My big eighteen-year old son can get it flying! (me too!)5. Fun to have contests to time who can keep their rocket up longer.Cons:1. It's not very high quality. The fins come off VERY easily. I even tried super-gluing a few before use to re-inforce them. No luck.2. While the stomp pad has not broken, I won't be surprised if it doesn't last too long. We've stomped it a lot and VERY hard, and so far it's holding up. But it just doesn't seem like it will be a toy my kids can hand down to their kids. (no chance)3. Little kids (4-8 year olds) can't get it to go too high. You really have to JUMP on it hard to produce enough air pressure to send it very high. But they still love to watch it go and see what they can do.

A Slam Dunk
Stomp Rockets are memory makers because they are so much fun for everyone! An inexpensive, no batteries required, fun for kids and adults of all ages toy, that in my opinion, is educational and durable. I bought 4 super high stomps and 1 Jr. stomp for our Christmas party. The kids are age 3-12, the adults 18-62. We played with all 5 and none of them broke. Stomp Rockets are a slam dunk if you want to avoid expensive, battery operated, noisy, no thought or exercise toys. These rockets fly high and far, and you can adjust the angle of the launcher so kids can experiment and estimate how far and high the rockets will fly. On top of that, they are outside, getting exercise, fresh air, working together or competing. Be mindful of dogs, they will try to retrieve the rockets and may not give them back unharmed. The rockets may land in places where you can't get them back like trees, ponds, roofs.... But as inexpensive as they are....easily replaceable. I would definitely buy these again.

Awesome! Shoots them beyond what can see!
My 7 year old son and I love this! We pack it for every trip to the park. I am 220 lbs and can send rockets higher than I can even see them. When angled, I can send it a football field away with good height. My son can send them pretty high too...about 75 feet or so. The jump box is a lot more durable than I expected. I thought for sure I'd break it as a fairly athletic 200 lb man, but it didn't even seem phased. We really like it...super fun. Great purchase and highly recommended!ADVICE: for lighter kids make sure you only put the rockets on at the top...don't slide them down or they won't be able to launch. Small kids can't generate enough force to overcome the tighter connection at the bottom. This took us about an hour to figure out. He was getting good height on some and it wouldn't even

Feels like a cheaper version than the original version.
I got this version because I was expecting this one to be an improvement over the one marketed to younger kids, The Stomp Rocket Ultra Rocket. Yeah not so much. This one is actually flimsier than the other version, and after each stomp or launch of the rocket the black base falls apart. Never had this issue with the "younger kids" version. This thing is marketed towards kids 9 and over but the thing falls apart too quickly to keep kids that age entertained. I ended up having to duct-tape the base together just to get more than a single launch out of it. Also the air tube is thinner in diameter than the other version and for some reason the rockets sit extremely tight onto the tube meaning you need a lot of force to get the rocket up in the air, sometimes more than what a 9 or 10 year old can muster. My kid and neighbors still like it, it just isn't as good as the other version and I wish I had gone with that instead.

Defectuoso

Give the kids some excercise
Lot's of fun, gets kids out from in front of the TV/Video games and gets them running around outdoors retrieving rockets. Seems safe enough for younger children 4-10 with very close adult supervision, but would not leave them alone with it. Does project the rockets an impressive distance. My 4 year old managed to fire one of these over 90ft (he was very pleased with himself), and I managed over 300ft. Stand tends to disassemble too easily, but it's no problem to put it back together. Overall manufacturing standard that you'd expect for under 20 bucks, but it does the job. I'm 220 pounds, 'stomp' pretty hard and everything seems to be holding together after 2 weeks of almost daily enjoyment. The replacement rocket 6 pack is worth getting too.

Kids love it
But this for the kids birthday party, value for money is good, product is good and flies very high and flies straight, product is very strong and will last a long time ,great for outdoors.

Great toy to have for the summer
Our kids play with this for about 20-30 minutes before getting bored. It gets pulled out about twice a summer. For the price and size we feel that it was a good purchase but if you are looking for something that holds their attention longer, you might choose something else. Quality was reasonably good - although we did add some electrical tape to the hose to ensure maximum air pressure with each stomp.

Fun for while. Sadly, not built to last.
Is it fun? Yes. For an adult playing with his son? Good for 20 minutes. For my 4 yr.old and friends? Good for an hour, but he really enjoys it.My beef is that it's very cheaply made. Dollar store quality. The palstoc feels cheap, poorly moulded, the stand is designed such that it comes apart every dozen or so launches. I got it on a flash sale for much less than normal but even my price is too much for what it is. I don't expect it to last very long before breaking. For my son, "that's the highest ever in the whole world!!!" For me, the highest my 190lbs full stomp has been able to launch it is 100 feet. No way it's going the 400 feet claimed on the box. Impossible.
