I am disappointed. For over $200 this is not a good or fair value. I have installed many different fans in my house, and this is the poorest value, by far. Installation is easy if you've installed other ceiling fans. Trade some of the plastic parts for the cast zinc and I'd be more impressed. Plus, for downdraft, the blades rotate with the sharp tips as leading edge. More aerodynamic in the updraft configuration. I would not buy again.

Sleek and non obtrusive looking ceiling fans. Color is perfect for my room. I needed 2 for my LR and these are perfect. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the light. It is very bright and you cannot dim it. I think if you have high ceilings the lights would be good and throw off a lot of light, but mine are only 8 ft. so the light is bright and annoying. I don't normally use the overhead lighting but just stating for other buyers who do. Four speed, very quiet fan. A little difficult to install so make sure you have a professional or someone who knows what they're doing. I would not try to install this if you have never hung a fan before.

Installation was easy (I replaced existing fan) but still took me a little over an hour to do. Wires that come with fan are extremely long, so I had to cut them. As others mentioned remote control box is a real paint to cram into small opening.Fan looks great and works great. Motor is completely silent, you only hear air movement. LED light is nice a bright. Remote control is simple, but comes with weird tiny 12V battery. I hope it will last. I'm going to get a second remote, although they are pricey. Overall it's an amazing fan!

I bought this fan about two years ago. It was moderately easy to install myself and I've been very happy with the stable, quiet operation of the fan and I think it looks great.The only trouble spot is the light. First, the color is a little too much on the "warm" side for my taste. I wish the remote control let me tune the color. And the other problem is that after two years, THE LIGHT HAS STOPPED WORKING. This is very disappointing since the LED light should last 10 years or more. I am now trying to figure out how to replace it.

I was initially having a hard time justifying spending $280 on a ceiling fan, but this one was well worth it. It's extremely quiet, installs easily, and the LED light easily turns on with the remote. The airflow in my Manhattan apartment improved and the A/C was much more effective with the circulation this fan provided.

I will say, overall I very much like this ceiling fan. It has the look I wanted, it was not difficult to install, it's quiet and effective. However, it has one rather significant flaw: there is no way to reverse the fan unless you get on a ladder and climb up to flip the switch. Because of metal blades, it is recommended to be hung at least 10 feet up. I mistakenly assumed that this remote would be like the remote for my living room ceiling fan which allows me to change the direction. No such luck. Twice a year I have to lug the twelve footer in here and reverse the fan.

**UPDATE- Westinghouse Lighting ended up trying to make it right by deciding to send me the missing part and a replacement part for the light that didn’t work. I appreciate their efforts. **. And here’s why- although I love the fan, they shipped it to me without the glass plate, and the light feature does not work. Purchases through Amazon Warehouse are not covered by any warranty. The description should say you may get something that doesn’t work. It’s a gamble and up to you. It did not say that. I expect a product that works. Westinghouse Lighting gets an F for that.

I think this fan is overpriced for what you get. While its stylish, and looks nice, there's no more to it than the $100 fans we put in the kids rooms, or the one I bought to replace this one (GE Phantom fan with LED, $228). The primary reason why its getting sent back is the remote. Its' horrible and looks like it came from the 80's. Every other fan remote I've seen, including that $100 fan, has remotes with buttons that are different sizes and has a decent layout. Personally, sometimes I turn the fan off at night and good remote design helps so I don't have to look at the remote.Ironically, of the three new fans I've installed recently, from three different manufacturers, they all had similar construction. The same mounting bracked on the ceiling, same type of wireless receiver, same types of trim pieces between the fan and ceiling, etc... They are all equaily quiet. So thats good in a way, but tells me that for the money there's no reason this fan needs to be in the upper $200s when other similar ones are at least a hundred less.

El abanico esta excelente ! lo único es que me me falto el soporte para el control que se sujeta en la pared, no venia en la caja, ojala y me lo envíen.

El Abanico como Diseño esta genial!! y Cumple con todo lo que se especifica!!! Pero si pensé que iba a sentirse muy potente en la máxima velocidad, y no fue así!!! siento que le falto un poco mas de power!!!

Es un diseño elegante. El funcionamiento es totalmente silencioso aún en la velocidad mas alta. La luz sin embargo, no se puede ajustar intensidad o color (fría o cálida).
