Only used it 2x since purchase, but it definitely feels sturdier than any other hacksaw I ever had before. I oiled the tensioning system (unscrew completely, oil, re-assemble) - it says it will create about 2x the tension of other hacksaws - Well, I did not yet dare to apply the suggested 12 turns on the system! But I already see way less blade movement (twisting, waving, etc.) than with previous hacksaws. Frankly, I ALWAYS ran out of "more tensioning capability" on previous hacksaws - even trying to file away stops to get another turn ( or half turn) of tension, with the Lenox, you won't run out of tension! Contrary, you might be afraid of snapping of the blade!

Professional grade. Use at work. The only one I would buy, and used daily in my job, so I know.

First time buyer and user of a hacksaw! I needed to cut of a fused hose attachment to outside spigot. Was able to tighten with zero flexibility which made it extremely easy to saw off the hose in less than five minutes! Super sturdy, lightweight, excellent performance, easy to hold with the soft grip handle. I like that there is also a storage space for extra blades. This was a great value for the money imo. I’d highly recommend!

it's a really good tool, well made, and perfect for heavy duty work i didnt give a 5 star review because the first time i used it the stretching leaver i twisted in the wrong way and the screw mechanism inside just pop off... i know it was my mistake but it would have been better with a security block or something... it wasnt too hard to put it back in place so dont worry if it happens to you.. i also was hoping to receive 5 blades in the blade storage, but it was empty.. i had to buy the other blades in home depot what else can i say... i loved the colors... thats it

I wish I bought one of these a long time ago. This saw replaces my very old basic hacksaw frame. It’s much, much more solid. The blade is under high tension so it doesn’t bow, twist or rotate while you cut. I saw another review from several years ago complaining that the blade change is too difficult, but that’s not at all what I experienced. Maybe he had a defective saw or maybe Lennox changed the design, but I immediately removed the 24T blade and put on a 32T blade without any problem at all. I put one of my extra 32T blades in the storage slot and mounted the 24T blade in my old, rudimentary hacksaw frame. Very happy with this saw.

Even though it's made in China it's built to Lenox specs. I do firesprinklers and even though I use a band saw this hack saw is indispensable along with a thread chaser. My Lenox hacksaw got stolen at the job site I ordered this one immediately got it the next day. Anyone in the pipe trades knows this is the tool to have. I had my Lenox since 1999 and still kicked butt till it got stolen. Love my new one and will guard it with my life.
