Standard scrub daddy behaviour here, these things are truly excellent. They’re firm and scratchy when at room temperature, but soft and malleable with warm water.Nothing at all ever gets stuck in them. They don’t get gross. If you avoid sponges because they always have hair and gunk clinging to them, these are the sponges for you. A quick rinse and they’re back to brand new.They also last for ages, because they wash so well and hold their shape so well. Haven’t met a single item these have scratched or been unable to clean.Eventually the sponge part deteriorates, and that’s when it’s time to switch to a new sponge. But a pack of these will last a solid few months!

These are my favorite sponges by far. The colors are fun to change up boring dishwashing for sure. They last for quite a long time and are a great value for the price.

I enjoy using the Scrub Daddy sponges instead of the Scrub Mommy. It is easier for me to use a square sponge instead of the round smiling face ones. I guess it it is personal preference but both are great sponges.

The composition is cool since it's hard when cold and softer when warm. I did notice the first sponge only lasted approximately 1 week and I am a one person household. The gritty side pulled off during washing until it was bare. I will continue to use them until the pack is empty, because the 2nd sponge was better but would not waste my money on them. Sponges from big box outlet stores seem to last the longest. Thus, a better value.

Scrub daddy might claim to be the greatest thing, but they are definitely missing out on some important advertising: they are great for surfaces you don't want to scratch. When you don't want to pull out the steel, scrub daddy can tackle reasonably tough jobs and still come back for more.Will it replace steel? No way. But it's reasonably priced and good quality. Overall works very well for the intended applications.

Maybe my favorite thing about this sponge is that it dries quickly, so it's not a soggy, smelly mess. It cleans up beautifully under running water or in the dishwasher. Works great for cleaning counters, the stovetop, dishes, skillets, etc. I prefer the rectangle shape to the face shaped sponges, as these are smaller and easier to maneuver (e.g. squeeze all the water out).My 1st sponge lasted a tad longer than 2 months, before I relegated it to the laundry room. The scrubby part started to slough off but was totally usable still.
