I was amazed that it is real linen for this price. I have purchased other scarves from "Rhe-Ana" and their fabric material is true to the description; it should be that way but many have false labels. The size is big enough to be enjoyed in different styles. Yes, it is stiff but I believe most linen will be softer as you use and wash it for a long time.
