Great Device
Why didn't I buy this long ago? This is a great device for chopping items. It is very sturdy and actually has some weight to it which assists with the chopping. Makes for a quick and easy chopping job with very easy cleanup. I ordered one for my daughter at the same time and she loves it and we both use it often. The little strips for hand guards do come off easily. I saw where someone said they glued them on. I just took them off as I felt they were unnecessary, as did my daughter. One does not need to have a death-grip on this to use it.

Great kitchen gadget!
Even though this product is advertised as a salad chopper, I actually purchased it to mince garlic and herbs, which is usually such a boring and time consuming task for me but this tool makes it easy! The double blades make it a quick job to cut through a mound of herbs. When I first opened the package, I was impressed by the solid weight of the stainless steel, it has enough heft and sharpness to quickly chop herbs that have tougher stems. Great product!

Chopped Salads for Life!
This is my first salad chopper, and I can't believe I lived this long without one. Seriously, this is the best way to make salads: throw lettuce, onion slices, carrot slices, etc, in a wood bowl (we got one from Ikea) and use this to chop into small chunks. Then toss on add-ins like tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons, nuts, seeds, berries, etc. The chopper creates a wonderful, satisfying texture that a regular knife and cutting board can't do. Maybe you can, but it would be messier and take longer. This way, you chop directly in the serving bowl - a one-dish meal. Seriously, it saves a ton of time.My one complaint about this particular product is the green handle grips. They fall off sometimes, and I found one in my salad at work. It's a bit uncomfortable to use without them, so keep an eye out. They're made of a silicon/rubber material that doesn't cut easily, so I am not worried about it getting cut into the salad.Other than that, this is well-made and sturdy with strong steel, and I love it.

Easy to use
This is more than a salad slicer. The blades are super sharp and cut slicing and dicing time in half. It has been super helpful in chopping herbs as well. The only flaw I found was the green rubber grippers fall off easily. This was quickly resolved with some super glue.b

Not worth it. Use a knife.
So I was very excited to try this product. I had seen something similar used at a restaurant called Verde . Most of the items I saw online came with a bowl...I have bowls obvious so only got the cutter but it doesn't work with any of my bowls. And when you use it on a cutting board it works fine but might as well just use a knife. Also, one of the green finger cushions fell off on the first use.

Love this Chopper!
I LOVE this chopper! It is so easy to make salads. And before... I hated making a salad. Too much cutting up veggies. Now I just put everything into a bowl and chop it up at the same time. My husband loved to get a "chopped" salad from the Subway Restaurant...so I went looking for a chopper. Not expensive, sturdy, easy to clean and very fun to use! I recommend this chopper. I am buying some for Christmas Presents this year!

Dangerous, faulty execution.
This is a bad execution of a dangerous design. The blade guard requires my full weight to put it back on, the blades spring apart and then the blade guard does not fit. I had to put it on the edge of the sink and put my full weight on it (I am not a lightweight) and even then it took multiple tries...a slip and the spring loaded blade is just as likely to slice you open as not.The design is stamped metal and there are some sharp areas from the stamping process. The manuscript l manufacturer provided a couple of small rubber pieces to cover these sharp edges, but the rubber was not actually attached to the metal and the guards fell off.I could see getting 4 or 5 of these, tig welding them to a frame and making a homemade spike strip. They are sturdy and could probably survive being run over.I can't see using them as a kitchen chopper, unless you were using a Kevlar and steel mesh glove... and you knew that you were never going to use the blade guard.

Love it!
I'm using this thing several times each week! It's great for salads, but also just dicing vegetables for cooking. Well worth it!
