He was a master speaker that taught the faith clearly. It's a shame that cardinal Dolan of New York, cardinal Cupich of Chicago and other faithless clergy prevented his beatification in 2019.This collection of 299 sermons is priceless! I love Archbishop Fulton Sheen so much that I purchased and installed a new stereo system in my car that has the feature to jump anywhere within an mp3 audio file. My old system always started the file from the beginning after I turned off the car and turned the car on again. So, now I can continue listening where I left off.I love listening to his sermons ( and his humor :) ). On one occasion, a man came to him for confession. This man was UNAWARE that Father Fulton Sheen, at that time, was hearing his confession. The man said "Father forgive me for I sinned against charity". "How so, my son?" "There is this priest named Fulton Sheen that speaks on the radio every Sunday, and I can't stand him. I was on the train during the week and I ran him down to 3 protestants riding with me. They like him!". "So, father please forgive me". Father Sheen said to him, "My good man, there is nothing to forgive. I sometimes can't stand listening to that man either. You don't need absolution, you can receive Communion without any hesitation." The man exclaimed, "Thank God For Good Priests Like you!" Needless to say, the man left the confessional without ever knowing who the priest was. This account shows how humble Archbishop Fulton Sheen was.Archbishop Fulton Sheen's sermons are full of Knowledge and understanding of the Faith. When I started listening to him I learned so many details of Sacred Scripture that I never heard before. He is a true Genius and a Saint!So many "Fallen-Away Catholics" returned to the Faith after meeting with him; and so many people of other faiths converted to Catholicism after encountering him. You see, The Holier a person is, the more Jesus Christ manifests Himself through that person. As a result, Miracles happen. Archbishop Fulton Sheen was such a person! His life is full of Miracles that he shares with us through his sermons.Archbishop Fulton Sheen is also a Great Prophet! His predictions about the future of the world and more importantly, the future of the Church is astoundingly accurate.

Though Sheen was before my time, around high school age I started seeing reruns of Fulton Sheen's television program. Fascinated by his knowledge and intelligence, I started to learn more about Sheen and listen to his talks. I was blown away to find out that half of his audience (TV & Radio) were Not Christian. Being a Catholic Bishop, I was certain that almost all his listeners were Christian. And when I say audience, I am not talking a small audience. His television program alone had 40% of the market during his prime.This cd collection is amazing and well worth getting for the nearly 300 talks on life lessons and philosophy about life. Considering Fulton Sheen is one of, if not the most influential speakers of the 20th century, you owe it to yourself to listen to his speeches. Pick this cd up and every couple of days, listen to one or two talks on your way to work or while doing choirs around the house. You will be glad you did.

The collection is thorough and terrific. The sound quality of the recordings is seriously lacking but that is because the recordings themselves are very old and digital restoration can only do so much. This is nearly a life time of Fulton Sheen's work and his words are almost poetic. The talks themselves carry a lifetime of spiritual lessons and I find myself listening to them every day. The cd is worth the price as I have many complaints about the other formats this is being marketed on. At least with Amazon, I have a worry free guarantee.I purchased the Fulton Sheep app on iphone and used to have a membership to their website to listen and download mp3s whenever I wanted. But then they redesigned the website and my membership was somehow cancelled. I contacted customer service (fultonsheen.com) numerous times but my emails were ignored. The iPhone app requires internet connection to play so thats not a great option either. I refuse to buy the dvd directly from their website so I'm glad Amazon is fulfilling the order.

Everything arrived on time and as advertised

First, as far as the selection goes, this is a great collection of Sheen's talks. Sheen is a wonderful orator and well worth listening to. It is designed to have the audio transferred to an MP3 player.However, the sound quality is spotty--it will go from loud to almost inaudible in seconds. While this use of voice level is part of Sheen's dramatic skill, it makes listening to on an MP3 player almost impossible. Surely the volume levels could have been regulated so the extremes were not so extreme.Also, no effort has been put into creating good metadata for the audiofiles. This means that lecture series which should be heard in a particular order do not get played in that order once they are on the MP3 player. I have spent hours researching and fixing the metadata on the lectures I have listened to so far.If you are a fan of Fulton Sheen, this collection will introduce you to some lectures that are hard to find elsewhere, but be prepared for some frustration as you (try to) listen.

We listen to these whenever we can. We also watch his original tv shows on the internet. Very enjoyable and learning a lot from this audio.

This is a solid series from a serious man of God who's greatly help me sanctify and build on my Christian faith as a practicing Catholic. Priceless purchase that I highly recommend to others.

I could listen to Archbishop Fulton Sheen continuously and never get tired of it. So much Wisdom in his words. Surely inspired by the Holy Spirit. I haven't got yet to listen to all because I'm going through other of his material. I'll get back to this review when I'm listened to all.

An absolute treasure to have this disc. The quality of the MP3 files are excellent. No one speaks like the great Fulton Sheen these days. I wish I had known of him my whole life. Now I can listen to him everyday! This disc is an absolute must for all Sheen enthusiasts.
