The Morpho dididius belongs to the Morpho dididius-menelaus group (subgroup Grasseia) and comes from South America - Peru. Its spread ranges from Ecuador to South Peru. Due to its brilliant colouring, size and pattern, it is one of the most magnificent butterflies in the world. The base colour is black. The characteristic, highly glittering blue clearly changes its colour when you change its viewing angle. This changes the colour nuance of the blue on the top of the wings over a turquoise to a green tone. Country of origin: Peru and ia. Our breeding butterflies are naturally real and have been professionally prepared/dried. The fixed breeding butterfly is protected by a robust glass panel on the front and back. The outer dimensions of the simple wooden frame are approx. 22 x 22 x 4 cm (8.65 x 8.65 x 1.58 inches). On the back there is a small hook for wall mounting.
