It really help rid of my plantar fasciitis. Better than the boots. I take a little fish collagen to help rebuild the tissue in my feet and I'm good. I use to stretch my feet on the floor every night. And where a PF boot to sleep. They would help alot. But this is the best. You feel tingling all around the bottom of your feet and on the sides up to your toes. You really start to feel it around 5 to 10 minutes each leg. For the hand grips i found weaving it thru the upper table handle holds it in position so that you could grab it for a full stretch of your long tendons. Review: Glad I Bought It - Yes, the reddish color of the wood frame could be more attractive. Yes, the thin, padded bench could be sturdier and not emit an odd chemical smell. Yes, the velcro leg band could have not had an equally strong smelling odd odor. But, other than the above minor issues, this bench (when used correctly) allowed me to gain much more flexibility in just 1 week. It really hurt the first few days but after that, it became easier. I even went and bought light leg weights to use for the 2nd week. 20 minutes each leg every day has allowed me to get up faster from a sitting chair position and alleviated some pain when getting up after kneeling for a few minutes. I couldn't do anything about the reddish color of the frame but I did replace the woefully thin bench top and chemically smelling vinyl material with a piece of solid 3/4" birch plywood wrapped with a yoga mat and upholstered with a piece of cream colored leather from the local fabric shop. It not only looks great now, but it's solid enough now for a 200+ lbs person. I'm not going to lie, it's a pricey piece of equipment especially with shipping. But if you're handy with wood you can totally duplicate. It took me about 1/2 hr. to put it together.
