for a 65+ elderly with muffled ears problems need a basic (high tech not necessary) & simple to operate alarm clock for daily use, no tick tack noise to affect sleeping, this retro look clock just fits, in addition personally don't like brands. overall saying this is the one with reasonable price below £10, love it

This cute retro alarm clock does the job. A good LOUD ring that will waken me every time. If you are in the habit of oversleeping, this is what you need.

It works as intended, looks the part, ringer is loud enough for me, the only problem is the back light, you have to reach to the back of it to press and it doesn't stay on. Apart from that, it's fine, and no ticking, but a very very quiet, put you ear right next to it, wwruring, scratchy sound, not audible form 5 inches from it.

I inherited one similar many years ago and wanted to have one for old times sake. The quality is okay for the price but nothing like the old alarm clock made with real metal. It has a fairly typical plastic core where you can adjust the time and the alarm. There is a button at the back for back light, which is useful in the dark. And a very small on/off switch at the back as well, for one to switch on and off the alarm. The alarm is very very loud, almost as loud as our fire alarm. Everyone in the whole house can hear it. As there is only that small on/off switch at the back, which is not the easiest thing to operate so early in the morning, you might have a small domestic scene in the morning. In the end, not every one is impressed or happy, but at least every one is up.

This alarm only gives you one chance to respond. It looks old-fashioned and it is. They made things to do their job in earlier (!) times and this clock does the job well.

Bought 31st May, it has stopped working just over 3 months later. It was a great alarm but it’s unreliable if you want it an alarm that lasts

Looks very nice but IT IS NOT SILENT AT ALL! I had to send it back - it drove me nuts!

Se nos rompió un despertador antiguo casi igual que este y lo sustituimos por él. Hace la misma función y es exactamente igual exceptuando por el color.Además que las agujas son silenciosas, un punto a favor para mi porque odio ese ruido del segundero. Lo compré hace meses y aun lo tengo como nuevo.

Avevo una sveglia vintage meccanica che oramai dava i numeri.Ho visto questa al quarzo e mi sembrava valida.In effetti funziona bene, ha una suoneria rompi timpani (come la vecchia) e in più anche la luce.Sono soddisfatto.Unico appunto e che magari invece che mettere la scatola con la sveglia in una busta è opportuno inserirla in un'altra scatola, per proteggerla meglio.

Un sommeil profond, surtout en hiver quand il est l'heure de se lever et que l'on voudrait encore dormir.Pour faire ce choix de réveil, j'ai consulté les avis des autres clients et je ne suis pas déçue. Ce réveil tient peu de place et il a une allure rétro qui me plaît beaucoup. Je recommande car très efficace.
