FCS1332349 Complete Strut Assembly

I just installed these in my 07 Mustang GT. The installation was quick and easy. My initial impression is very positive. As always with Prime shipping was quick. The Struts were assembled well and a much higher quality than I had expected for the price. I had never bothered to replace struts previously because I never wanted to mess with a spring compressor. This set-up allows me to properly maintain my car without fearing loss of life, limb and property if the spring compressor fails.Be warned that depending on the condition of your old struts and springs these replacements may actually lift your vehicle slightly. It's shocking at first but it really does just restore your stock ride height.You will not NEED any special tools for this project but I would have to say that having an impact gun and a second set of hands would make the removal of the old struts and installation much simpler. It can be done by one person but it would be easier with two. I can't say how long the job would or should take from start to finish as I disassembled the old struts before these even arrived. I also decided to replace the Tie Rod Ends while I was under there. If you are doing this yourself and not having a professional handle the install I would recommend checking out all your bushings and tie rods and brakes while you have your car up and apart.All in I would say this was a project I wish I had not waited so long to do.I obviously don't know yet about the long term reliability of this product but if I have any issues I will try to remember to update.

Took the parts to local shop , they installed them. The pair went in like clock work the mech/tech loved putting them in. That alone saved me installation costs. Took the car for a test drive , the neighbor drove , he's a Lexus dude. The Stang in the corners and around the turns reacted like the expensive stuff. He said it was a tight ride, for a Stang. For a daily driver these work hella great.

These struts installed onto a 2006 Mustang super fast, with no problems. Be sure to hand tight the nuts on top as I accidentally stripped one with my impact. The quick struts is all I will use from now on. I almost broke my hand using a spring compressor on one of my Mustangs years ago and its just to dangerous to compress the springs by hand. With these springs are pre-installed, ready to go.

I got these two FCS pre-installed struts for my 2006 Mustang GT and they fit great. Now my 06 Mustang GT handling like new. It was very easy to install, it took me about 3 hours from start to finish and I didn't have any mechanical experience at all. I just wanted to mention one thing about this FCS Strut, my ABS wire mount screw didn't fit on the side of the strut so I used a smaller screw to hold the ABS wire onto the strut. No biggies.

Needed new struts for my 2008 mustang so I bought these. Only took a week or two to ship. Didn't take very long to put the struts in. Overall install was very easy and took less than an hour for both sides. Reason for 3 stars: one of the bolts at the strut tower completely broke off as I was tightening down. Was using only a basic ratchet and wasn't putting any strength into it. Had to call amazon for a new strut. However, car definitely rides smoother compared to before.

Heard a terrible knock from my front end turns out the strut is bad 2 months in now i got to buy another stut and get another alignment dont waste your time or money . junk!

Cons: they are rattling and knocking like 10 year old struts but after only 2 months.....Pros: perfect fit, came exactly as described. Correct stock ride height for 2005-2009 coupe Mustangs (not convertible mustangs)

Perfect fit on 2008 mustang v6. Definitely brought it back to stock/new ride height in front.
