Hot Spa Paraffin Wax Refill Lavender 16oz.

This wax smells great, is soft and leaves hands feeling smooth and soft. This wax is so much better than the stuff that came with the unit I purchased. This seems to let you turn the temperature down while still remaining melted, where the other wax started to harden if I turned the unit down. Also, when you peel this wax off, it stays pliable and removes neatly.

I use my paraffin wax warmer consistently during the winter months and this wax is great. I love lavender and it left my hands more moisturized then the last type of paraffin wax that I used. I will definitely buy it again and again.

It didn't melt as easily as the original wax that came with our system. This wax seems to take a higher temp so instead of a nice clear pool of warm wax, we get melted wax in the middle and the edges of the reservoir have solid wax chunks. I'm tempted to give it a single star, but my caveat is that you may have a melter that has more distributed heating elements... but never had this problem with other wax. Your mileage may vary.

This has a strong lavender smell an I don’t know what type they used to make it overly smell this way since they didn’t say. Next time I would prefer unscented an place my own lavender drops into the hot wax that way I know I’m using good lavender

I think the value is very good. You do need to keep the block(s) in a zip lock bag. And you do need to pay attention to the fact that you are ordering ONE block. Always read the entire description. Mine have arrived still sealed and intact. The first time I was going to use my paraffin bath, it was a challenge to get the wax broken, asking dh if he could break it in half. When he went at it with a hammer, we did just fine! LOL I did not realized initially how much wax you use each time, so be sure to order extra! You really need 3 LB to adequately cover your hands. Smells really nice!

Very disappointed! The description shows multiple bars of wax, I received 1 bar of wax!!!! The scent is nice, but my paraffin spa is only 1/4 filled. Doesn’t cover my hand.

My husband had a serious accident with a saw and he uses paraffin to aid in his recovery. He loves this stuff! He says it's easier to control the temperature with this refill and is happy with it.

Smells terrible. Cheap flowery perfume, not lavender. I don't know much about melting points, but it didn't melt right, either in my Homedics.
