Not what I was looking for. Bought stream line water guns for the pool that are great. This one is mostly for out of the pool. Read completely before purchasing.

This is a forced review for warning other perspective purchasers. When this arrived there was glue smeared all over the outside of the gun. My boss wanted this for a prank but was very upset when it did not work! It did not squirt as designed to do! So if your boss requests that you buy him a watrer gun from Amazon...be sure to read the reviews first or you will be forced to leave feedback!!!!! Thanks!

The kids hid the broken gun from me, so I didn't know for a while, but this gun broke after only a few uses.It has a nozzle on the front that is attached by two very small, very thin plastic holders... that broke off. The water bottle has a plastic top that you twist into the gun (like a light bulb) and the kids twisted this too tightly into the gun and when they tried to twist it back off to refill it, the threaded part that you twist into the gun snapped off, so that the threaded part was still stuck in the gun and there's no way to reattach the water vessel. (again, kind of like a light bulb when the glass twists off of the threaded metal, leaving the threaded metal still stuck in the lamp base.)These are children - not steroidal hulks - so yes they probably play rough, but I think this gun should not have broken in two places so quickly as a result of normal play.It was really cool when we got it - brightly colored, really fun - but it's not sturdyFail!!

Bought this originally as a prop gun to use with a costume since I liked the shape and design of it. Now a word of warning on that part, it's going to take a bit of elbow grease to get it ready. Opted for a cheaper and smaller water pistol I bought at the dollar store for my prop due to time constraints.Now as for the item itself, it's flimsy I'll give it that, while the bottle is definitely air tight, everything else isn't. I had also noticed the presence of a lubricant on the inside of the toy when taking it apart one day. I'll just say, I don't know what kind of lubricant it is or what it's made of. But being made in China, I'd question that big time.Overall, I'd pass on it as a toy and either go and buy something much more decent like something from either the Super Soaker or Water Warriors brands.Now if you want to get it as a prop and care enough to work on it until its something nice, by all means. I'm not stopping you. :D

You get what you pay for. These are cheap water guns. I purchased a couple of these for a one time event where I work. I had fun with them, however after about 5 minutes the first one broke. If you just need something for a one time event these should work fine but do not buy these for a more permanent use.
