Eviant T4 4.3" Portable Color Digital ATSC NTSC LCD TV DTV

Was kind of unsure of how the t.v. would work, and if I could get the darn thing to operated. I had ordered a portable color t.v. from one of the t.v. shopping networks, and I never could get the darn thing to work, so I had to send it back. Thought I might have the same issue. NOT! I can't believe the ease of operation and how quickly I got channels, the clarity, color and tuning was wonderful. I got it for power out emergencies, but now that this t.v. is as clear as my satellite t.v. pictures, I plan on taking it with me in my car, and using it when I'm away from home. This is a wonderful t.v. and the price was great too! I might buy another one for my grandchildren! I'm going to re-put it on my Wish List so I don't forget it! Fabulous t.v.!

Arrived today. Was very surprised at the tv and how easy it was to set up. In the box is the TV (a little larger than a GPS), a wall charger110/120v, a car charger, a antenna with a magnetic base and a poster to quick set up the tv. There is one of the most detailed ENGLISH instruction books i have ever seen. With everything made and printed in China i expected the normal "lost in translation" that is so common. Not with this company. Someone did their homework. The TV works great. i live in Los Angeles county and on the first scan was able to pick up 79 channels. All of them crisp and clear. Great picture and this thing even has closed captions available. Sound is good for such small speakers and earphones work very well. i am sorry i waited so long to purchase this tv. i would buy it again if i needed to. A side note the maker gives a 1 year awarranty if you register it.

this TV is a piece of junk-don't waste your money. I live in a strong signal area but not worth the aggravation to try to position the thing to get a signal. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I purchased this as a replacement for an analog tv for my bathroom. It took me what seemed forever to get it working. Although the picture is really good, the sound is very tinny. I need to keep it in one spot because if I move it the picture gets digital (squares) and I lose the sound.I am only fairly happy with it. I was going to return it but decided against it when I finally got it working. If I were you I would look for a different brand. Plus the customer service is only on line and not very helpful.

The Eviant T4 accomplishes the purpose for which it was intended -- catching an occasional show in a place where I can't watch TV in the traditional manner, and at a price which can't be beat (especially when you subtract $30 for an Amazon gift card). The picture is sharp, the sound is clear (with earbuds, not included) and I get all the available air-based channels in my area. That being said, it took 3 attempts for Amazon to get me a product that achieved this much (kudos for excellent customer service) and there are some things to watch out for:1. The first one had a defective battery that would not charge or otherwise operate at all after 2 days of trying...2. The second one worked fine but the AC adapter died after a week; Amazon offered to refund the difference for a new one, or replace the entire product. The bracket also loosened up, with no apparent way to tighten it. (It lets the TV stand erect, but I used it as a "steadying" bar while the TV was on my stomach -- no signal interruption during inhale/exhale).3. The third one appears to be the charm. (For now, anyway.)4. Note that the TV only seems to work with the (included) external antenna. I have yet to pick up anything using just the aerial, which is disappointing. Using bot the enternal antenna and the adapter, I'm a bit constricted by wires.5. The cloth pouch is merely a covering, and offers no protection for the device. I'm using the box for storage, I'd rather have a case but I can't see spending as much for that as for the TV itself.I do consider these detractions minor enough to only deduct one star from the rating, though. It really is a nice little TV.

I returned this item, due to a weak signal on this portable TV. I even purchased a separate antenna, which did not help very much.

I have to say that I am more than impressed with this little TV. On a whim, I bought it because I always get scheduled on Sunday (Football Day). My only expectation was for it to pick up Fox for football games, but when I auto-tuned it I was surprised to find that it picked up all CBS, ABC, FOX, and public access channels available in the area. Not only is it conveniently rechargeable through micro USB (Almost everything) it has a clear digital picture that comes in better than basic cable or satellite. It comes with an additional antenna as well as a wall charger and a car charger. Another helpful feature is the built-in adjustable stand. Recently, the TV was stolen (not a joke) out of my car and I won't think twice about getting this one again, nor will I leave my car unlocked anymore. I just wish I could buy guns on Amazon... oh well hope this was somewhat informative.

After reading negative comments about the sound on this set I was not sure if I wanted to take a chance on it or not. Now I am glad that I did. I find the sound very strong and clear. The only problem you may have is if you laid the set down flat instead of using the pull out stand because the speakers are on the back of the set. Or if the reception on a channel is bad. You will get better reception with the external antenna than the built in one. As others have said you can not go walking around with this tv because you will loss the signal. The picture quality is just as good a a regular tv. And the price is a positive.
