We bought this for the door on the end of our deck off the back of the house. It has a slanted down clear polycarbonate roof, and at the south end, to put a door there, tall people would hit their heads on the door frame.So, he made a slanted top on the door, with a counter weight, and used this track to slide the door up the slant of the roof, out of the way, leaving plenty of head room for tall people. Works smoothly, and easy to install.
