Q: Is it true ripstop fabric? I do not see clearly on the pictures.

Yes they are ripstop fabric, I live in mine as they are very comfortable and hard wearing, good trousers.

Q: As anyone who is 32 waist downsized to a 30 waist .fo they fit okay . Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

i am a 36 waist and also decided to buy a smaller size due to the waist being elasticated 34. This is great for a good fit around the waist but the downside is the amount of leg room around the bum/upper thigh is very tight, restricting bending movement, also the main fly zip is mental and broke within a few weeks which i had refitted with a stronger type.
