I originally purchased a Bush portable DVD player from Argos with a 10.5" inch screen and the quality of the sound on it was appalling, you could even hear distorted sounds from it when headphones were plugged into it. The screen was also too small for watching films on and so I decided to look for alternatives on Amazon. I found this product and read the reviews and it sounded good, despite me having never heard of the make. Anyway I went ahead and purchased it and I am so thankful I did. The screen size is great and it makes viewing very enjoyable. The sound is good quality too. The remote control is a nice size, not too big and not too small. The controls are easy to use and the remote control is great for switching on subtitles with just one press necessary. Overall, I think this product is excellent and would recommend anybody else looking and thinking twice to go ahead and order, you will not be disappointed.

I bought this player to use in my caravan on weekends away. It seems to be well made and the way that the screen can be moved around is excellent. However, I found the operating system to be unnecessarily complicated for someone in my age group. I would expect the more basic controls, like volume, brightness and contrast, to be readily available but it took me over 20 minutes to find the brightness control and the instructions were not at all clear. Not everyone is a computer literate genius, especially in my age group (71) and the menu system confused me. I have given it to my son and I will buy another one that suits my needs better than this unit. Having said that,the player is very good value for money.

Multi-functioning DVD,USB and SD PLAYER, all combined in one compact unit. I bought this to display our Concert recordings (Copyrighted) to prospective club members and photos of our venue and Artistes. The facility to play various types of media from one unit, makes it very convenient and eliminates the need to carry other equipment. The quality of the screen is great and the sound surprisingly good from such small speakers. It’s a very neat bit of kit and it fits in an Amazon Basics bag perfectly. The larger size (14.1”) makes it more comfortable to view and also suitable for use in a Caravan or Motorhome, especially with the 12 volts DC Adaptor and a battery capacity of up to 6 hours. As a Video & Sound recording engineer,I can highly recommend it.

Just recieved this so have only just tested it.Very impressed so far.Full picture(not letterbox picture like some others)Sound is the best I have heard on a portable dvd player.The outer case has an embossed pattern on it to help not show fingermarks and scratches.Seems well built and comes with a good warranty.

5 stars. A great little player, the sound quality is great considering it's small size. Picture quality likewise . I bought it to entertain my young son on long plane flights (He is a real Tractor Ted enthusiast ) It's cheap but very cheerful . I am sure he will be very happy with it.edit: One downside: l tried to view some jpeg photos with it stored on a USB stick, yes it does 'work' but certainly not as good as if l had plugged it into a computer. Never mind, l bought it to play dvds not view holiday snaps .Edit: We took it to China with us: Perfect to keep the little man happy on such a long flight.

I have to say that I thought that this item was very good although I have only had it a few days.It does all that the description says and is quite good value for the price it is being sold for.My only gripe would be is that some of the things that I have tried to watch on usb stick aren't giving any picture but it is giving out sound but other than that it is a really good product.

I cannot fault this dvd player. I use it mainly for showing videos which I have downloaded onto a memory stick, having first converted to AVI. The file resolution has to be under 720-756. If it's larger it is easy to reduce, I use 640-480. It also plays from dvd or sd card. The picture and sound is excellent. The screen is a good size, and it is light enough to carry around. The buttons are easy to work with once you get to know them, although the remote control does everything if you prefer. The screen swivels to give the best viewing angle. I can't comment on the battery life as I use it plugged into the mains, but don't doubt that it is as stated , so I'm happy to give 5 stars. After buying this, I saw on a comparison website of the best 10 dvd players, that this one came out as the best by a distance. The price is in line with lesser dvd players, the delivery was prompt, and the seller offers good support; so, all in all, I'm glad that I chose this one and I highly recommend it.

Bought as a present so only gave it a quick test to make sure it worked properly. DVD player was very easy to use. Was very impressed with the picture quality and especially the sound as when reading reviews for other players poor sound quality let most down.Have had the DVD player since July and my husband loves it. I did have an issue which I reported to the seller and the customer service I received was excellent, very prompt and satisfactory. Husband is once again enjoying his birthday present.
