This book is quite short, so it is only fitting! I really, really enjoyed this book. I've not read anything by Elle Kennedy before (though I know she has a very popular New Adult series published - The Deal?), but I'm really happy with the first book I've read by her! This one was AMAZING!Skyler and Gage meet in a nightclub, a nightclub that Gage owns in part. One steamy interaction leads to another, and the two of them can't keep their hands off each other. Skyler wants to keep seeing Gage, but Gage doesn't think it will work. With his dangerous past haunting him, he knows he should keep Skyler far away. But neither of them are prepared to let each other go.This book is definitely one of my favorite Brazen books I've read. It's only a novella (sadness!), but it's one of the hottest ones I've read, with a sweet and steamy story, and likable characters. Skyler and Gage lock eyes and fall in lust, which sounds pretty typical for your average romance story. But I love how much chemistry these two have together, how they lose control, make each other crazy (in various ways), and grow to care for one another.Skyler is a sweetie! I really could relate to her, because I feel like she and I are very similar. She isn't some sex goddess or a girl who talks dirty, but she knows what she wants and goes after it. Or, in this case, him. Gage is the silent, brooding type. He works hard at his nightclub, as well as to take care of his little brother's problems (which are pretty serious). Gage doesn't want to get close to anyone, but Skyler is persistent in a non-clingy way, and he started caring about her pretty quickly.Bottom line - I loved the steaminess of this novel (the chemistry is off the charts), and I also loved the relationship development and growth. I really like Skyler, and I really like Gage, and I really like the two of them together. I wish this novel were longer because I LOVED the explosive chemistry and sweet relationship these two have! But it was a great novella as it was.What I Did Not Like:Like I said, longer! This isn't quite a complaint, because the story is perfect at its length, and isn't underdeveloped or anything. This is just me wanting more banter and steamy scenes from Skyler and Gage.Would I Recommend It:Of all the Brazen I've read, this one is probably the one I'd recommend the most! Also anything by Tessa Bailey. Also Down for the Count. But guys - this book! It was really good! I definitely need to read more Elle Kennedy - it would seem that all of her books promise steamy sizzling chemistry and great HEAs!Rating:4 stars. I really enjoyed this book! I'm curious about the next book in this series - the lead characters are so funny together (one of them pretends he doesn't like her), so I'm sure their romance will be a good one. In any case, it's clear that I need to read more Elle Kennedy!

I always enjoy sweet and sexy romantic stories where one of the protagonists goes into the relationship with a set of low-level expectations which are completely blown out of the water once emotions come into play. And that, dear friends, is what we have with One Night of Sin. Gage Holt is a former MMA fighter, turned club owner, along with two of his closest friends Reed Miller and AJ Walsh. The extremely sexy Gage is shrouded in a bad-boy cloak that calls to Skyler Thompson on a visceral level. While on a date with another man, who she is clearly not into, Skyler can't seem to keep her eyes off of Gage. And how would he know that? Because he can't keep his eyes off of her either. But even across the sea of people in the crowded club, Gage can see the "good girl" vibe leeching off of Skylar. But a chance, and sexy, encounter in an alley proves that Ms. Sky may not be as good as she first appeared.Although VERY attracted to her, Gage declines Sky's seductive offer for a no-strings tryst. Yet Sky isn't willing to take Gage's "no" as a final answer on the subject. The day after she meets him at the club she returns during the light of day to restate her demands -- in a manner so sexy that Gage has no choice but to comply. Right within the confines of his office, Gage and Sky give each other more pleasure than they have every experienced with any other partner. After their sexy interlude, Sky decrees that she isn't at all finished with Gage. At first, he is hesitant to pursue anything with her and even intentionally keeps her at a distance, going days without responding to her calls or texts. But seriously, Sky isn't having it. Once again she goes to the club to confront him and that encounter settles the couple into a very sweet, fledgling relationship. They enjoy each others company in and out of bed and Gage is, albeit slowly, integrating Sky into his life by inviting to her to one of his fights. *Sigh*...the fights he's participating in to pay off his drug debt to the neighborhood "pharmacist". But Sky isn't aware that that's the reason why Gage is fighting. Well, at least not at first. Until one night Gage gets a call from his brother, his now sober brother, who tells him that the drug dealer is trying to get him to fall off of the wagon. Sky is sympathetic to Denny's plight but Gage has had it with always bailing his brother out of his own life. All too soon -- at least in the drug dealer's opinion -- Gage repays Denny's debt to him but the dealer wants to keep Gage in his servitude. One devastating night in an alley quickly throws Gage's relationship with Sky off the rails and he shuts her out of her life -- seemingly forever. *Tears*...But if you haven't discovered it yet, Sky is very tenacious...but more importantly very sweet.I really liked Sky's character because she broke outside of her business as usual zone in her pursuit of Gage. She was affectionate and sweet and even after EVERYTHING happened between them, she again eschewed her own comfort to help Gage in the end. Once Gage recognized that he was miserable without her and the depth of his feelings for her, but more importantly, the depth of her concern for him, he had no choice but to get her back. This time though, he was going after her a man in love, and not just one in lust. Their reunion in the restaurant was very sweet in a Jerry Maguire kind of way. *Wink*

What a palette cleanser this little novella was.This was exactly what I needed.Elle Kennedy has written a world and a group of characters that have me wanting me more, I have the next books in this series already on my kindle so safe to say I will be attacking them next and truthfully I cannot wait to continue devouring this world and the amazing characters and writing style that she has.152 pages of spice, adventure, comedy and unexpected romance leaves you on the edge of your seat, wanting more and not even realising you are hooked until you turn the last page and it’s all over way to soon.Do yourself a massive favour and give this a read you won’t be disappointed by the writing, the world or the characters.

3 stars was generous. Same old, he had a rough childhood and now has issues trusting and loving. She is sweet and lovely with a secret wish to be a bit wild. They have instant chemistry and are soon engaged in the mattress mambo. Besides being a part owner in Club Sin, he is a professional fighter but only to get a mob off his recovering addict younger brother's back. Their sex only rules soon develop into a relationship.In fairness, I got this novella on special for free. There was neither enough in either the plot or characters, to entice me to buy more of the series. Instead of hot, I would grade it tepid.

Love the story line and everything about this book. It kept me intrigued from beginning to end. Great writing skills.

Bacana. Bem bacana, falta mais enredo, porque quase nada acontece, não tem nem mudança direito no arco narrativo, mas é divertido de ler pra passar o tempo e tudo mais. É só não esperar nada demais daqui.Os personagens são bem divertidos.
