Love the square end.
Best leather thimble I’ve used. I like the square end on it. It allows my finger to go all the way to the end unlike others I’ve had that taper the end. Stretching out a tapered leather thimble is no longer an option for me with arthritic joints. It just hurts too much. The Bohin is superior to every other one I have used, commercial and privately made.

Very pleased
I'm very picky about my leather thimble and this one is great. My dog chewed up my last one and my favorite was no longer available. I tried a couple of others but leather was too thin or fit was uncomfortable. I like the size of this. Stops at top finger joint and covers with a double thickness just where needed. I will probably order another as back up just in case my dog tries to eat this one too!

Amazing!! Best thimble!
I recently started doing epp and something about how I sew, it was tearing up the skin on my thumb. Read a bunch of reviews and tried 4 different thimbles. This one was the best by far!! I feel I have normal sized hands, so based on reviews, got the Large. It was a little snug at first, but has relaxed into a perfect fit. I’ve only had it about a month so far, and I can see it’s getting some wear, but am cautiously optimistic it will hold up for awhile.

Jury still out
I purchased this to use for needlepoint. While it certainly protects my finger while pushing needle. Maybe i got too big a size... i'm using it on my middle finger and it comes down just past the joint. As its new, it doesnt 'flex' there and thus starts to ride up my finger tip. I am thinking like all things leather it will get more supple with use and EVENTUALLY be perfect :).

Very nice thimble.
This is a very nice product. Well made but unfortunately it doesn’t stay on my fat, arthritic finger.

3 sizes to choose from.
Most thimbels do not fit my fingers because they are longer and larger. This thimbel in a large works well on mine.

Remember to use protection.
I wanted a leather thimble for embroidery do the I could still use my finger for grabbing the needle but I'd be protected. I'd used a Clover thimble but it was too long and stiff (yeah, that's what she said). You might like that for some things, but not for a leather thimble. This Bohin thimble is more flexible but still keep my fingers from getting penetrated (snort) when pushing the needle. I really like this for my needlework.

They hold up and do not wear out where needles hit
I use it for hand stitching. I love doing turn edge appliqué and these thimbles are perfect. I lick my finger and they form a bond with my finger.
