B&S Carburetor
The carburetor fit perfectly for my John Deer LT120 mower and it runs great.

Worked great on JD L120. Easy install.
I ordered this carburetor for a John Deere L120 lawn tractor with a 22hp Briggs and Stratton V-Twin. It comes with gaskets and a piece of paper telling you which order to put the gaskets on. The only gaskets it did not come with were the manifold to cylinder gasket for the plastic manifold version. However mine were good.Installation was very straight forward. I removed the covers. Unbolted the manifold from the cylinder heads then swapped all the stuff to the new carb (cleaned first of course). The solo kid is at a different angle than the stock carb, butMy wires were just long enough to fit. Since it was dry Inshot a little staring fluid in the throat to get it going. Tractor fired up on the second try and runs great. This solves my surfing problem. Now I can order a rebuild kit and take my time rebuilding the old carb so it's ready if I ever need it. The mower sat for about 4 years and I think ethanol in the fuel messed up some seals and gunned up some jets. I'm very happy with the results. Total job took less than an hour.

Worth the price
The engine was surging. I bought a cheap $35 carb and it still surged. Then, I "rebuilt" the original carb and it still surged, Finally, I bought thie original B&S carb and now it runs great!

It works
I was pleasantly surprised with this, came in original box, and worked just fine,, I was disappointed to find out that these are manufactured in Japan,,,, Sad to learn that you have an American made engine, with a Japanese part. Other then that no complaints, after I installed it, and got enough gas in it, it started right up,, no adjustments necessary, its only been a few weeks, I dont generally like to give a review unless I know it will last,, only time will tell.

2003 Craftsman V-Twin 20 HP riding mower is born again! (OEM)
Last summer my 20-year-old mower was backfiring, sputtering, drinking gas like crazy. I figured it was time to junk or sale. It would have been difficult to sale in current condition so if I installed a new carburetor and "if" it didn't help the backfiring etc, that maybe someone would buy it anyway and try to fix it. To my great surprise the mower ran like it was brand new and gas milage really improved. Win/Win for the price I paid.At 72, if figure the mower will outlast me. (Oh yea, I changed gas/oil/filters/plugs/etc. every year($100) for the 20 years)

Prompt seller service
My order was for a lawn tractor carburetor, an item that is pretty uninspiring.I have no complaints about the product and it was satisfactory. It was the service from the seller that was outstanding. When my order did not arrive as scheduled, the seller promptly sent me a replacement part at no charge. Later, it was determined UPS had lost the original shipment. I appreciated the no questions asked and effective response from the seller.

Choke
They failed to tell you that this comes with a manual choke and not the choke a-magic !Could have saved a lot of time and trouble !

Make sure this is the correct carb for your engine as there is an auto choke and manual choke
Used this on a Z 425 John Deere , was a lil tough mouth to install but only because the engines in these units are turned sideways and a lil more difficult to install as most engine are installed with the engines strait and carbs on rear and much more acceptable to get to and a lot easier to install . My advise would be is > use the gaskets supplied and not try to get by using the old ones >THROW THE OLD ONES IN THE TRASH CAN , Most of the time if you don't you will find the carbs will suck air and engine will surge and run radical and possibly > Not even start from scratch , will make you think the carb is defective when it's not Don't try to skimp ! This Carburetor works great .

Made my engine run terribly
This replacement carb has something seriously wrong with it. It caused my engine backfire often and loudly. I'll be ordering the parts necessary to rebuild my old carb and returning this one soon.
