Apple Pro Training Series: OS X Server Essentials 10.10: Using and Supporting OS X Server on Yosemite

Note that this is basically a text book designed for a course in setting up a server. I did not find it a very good reference or manual, as it mostly just tells you how to do things for the assignments of the class and does not go into great detail on the subject matter. I'm sure this book would be extremely useful while taking the Apple training course it was written for, where you could ask the teacher the detailed questions that the book does not cover.Too bad there is not a Pogue's Missing Manual for OS X Server. I have several of his works and they are generally excellent, since they are not geared towards students but users.

Book smelled really bad. Had it for two weeks and wouldn't go away. Got light headed after reading for 5 min. A mix of printing smell and engine fumes.

Great for test prep or just getting to Apple Server. Excellent downloadable support files included.

A good way to keep up to date.

I bought this book for the smell but kept it for the informative content.I've found it to be an incredibly valuable resource.The only downside was that, after all the hype, the stink from copy I got was neither particularly astoundingly noisome nor repulsively offensive.I'm hoping that the scratch and sniff edition will be more disgusting.

Great way to stay current with all the changes to mac OS X Server. I always love the Tips too! I learn something new. This is a good study guide for my ACTC 10.10 certificate.

The book smells great. It is also the perfect reference for managing your Apple Sever.

Das Buch beschreibt umfangreich und wie auf amerikanische Art und Weise üblich das gesamte Vorgehen. Ich habe zwar schon Version 10.11 im Einsatz, die Informationen liessen sich aber übertragen.

Non si discute la guida ufficiale a OS X Server. Assolutamente indispensabile per la certificazione ACSP.La versione Kindle è ottima anche se a volte si sente bisogno della versione cartacea.

Ordered the 28th of August. Delivery would be between 5 and 15 September. That alone is ridiculous in this day and age.I'm writing this at the end of the 17th of September. Still no delivery. Now I'm sorry I ordered with this supplier. I'm NOT a happy customer.
