Mr IRONSTONE Pub Height Bar Stools Set of 2, 27.7" Pub Dining Height Stools Bistro Black Table Chairs (Indoor USE ONLY)

I bought the bar table first. I had some assembly issues but the company resolved them right away. I got such great customer service that I went ahead and got the bar stools. Assembly was so easy and they are very sturdy. Goes great with the bar also.

These Mr Ironside bar stools are inexpensive and it shows. Once assembled, they look nice....but the assembly process was nearly impossible.The stools arrived with the box in rough shape (see attached photo). However, the stool parts showed no obvious signs of damage during transit. My relief was short-lived, however, when I began the assembly process. Each stools uses two premade 'a-frame' type metal pieces that are then screwed together with crossbar supports. Unfortunately, none of square tube that made up these 'a-frames' were welded properly. As a result, none were remotely square. It would appear the Mr. Ironside lacks a QC department at their manufacturing facility.Because the frame was not square, it was almost impossible to attach one of the stool seats. I had to use a very large C-clamp to bend the metal frame down to the seat and align the screw holes. After much cursing, I did end up with two functional stools. They are basic and look good under a bar table. Mr Ironside also included a foam pad with synthetic mesh seat cover for each stool. They fit nicely and cover up the garish "Mr Ironside" decal on the side of the stool seat.In the end, the stools are fairly sturdy and were inexpensive. Therefore, I can partially overlook the shoddy manufacturing. But these stools would be perfect if there was a quality control process in place.

I bought these to go with the pub table and I was pleasantly surprised how much I like them. They are well made and I like the texture of the padded cover. My husband said the cover was a bit difficult to get on but other than that, it was an easy assembly. I would recommend these.

I got these barstoles with the matching bar table. They look really good. Not the most comfortable. But overall good value. I think I'm just too fat. Merica...

I recommend this product if you like dinner with a risk. The craftsmanship is questionable, and fair at best. Metal bars required for assembly are different sizes and thus compromise structural integrity. Screws become easily stripped, don't fit, fall out easy. Must retighten screws every few weeks just to keep the wobbliness from getting unbearable.

These are perfect for space saving in my kitchen. Very sturdy and easy to assemble.

I bought these to go with my Mr. Ironstone 55.1" table. They are a nice looking set individually. And they are a great set together.
