Lyric Chickadee Wild Bird Seed - Sunflower & Nut Premium Bird Food Mix for Chickadees, Nuthatches & Titmice - 20 lb bag

I've used this blend before and when I saw it on here and the price wasnt too outrageous, decided to get a bag. What I got was the wrong variety 2 times but anyway, this is a good all around bird food. Similar to what I mix myself.

Excellent quality seeds, no filler, very little wasted effort. Are birds love it.

I've bought several brands of bird seed from Amazon, but the Lyric Chickadee Wild Bird Mix is definitely the best value. The birds love it there seems to be no waste. The others I have bought didn't seem as fresh, one actually contained a lot of dust. Both of the packages of Lyric Chickadee seemed very fresh and contained no dust.

I've tried other seeds before but this one attracts the most birds. I even saw my first finch the other day at my feeder.

Birds love this product but I had to get a new feeder to keep the starlings and grackles from eating all the seed.

We bought this mixture because the birds love nuts and sunflower hearts and also because we do not want to buy a mixture with corn in it. A large part of this ingredient list is supposed to be nuts, however, the birds will not eat the brown substance that takes up a large percentage of the mix and looks to be some kind of chopped up nut. We end up finding most of that brown substance on the ground or pushed aside on the feeders. We feed all kind of finches, woodpeckers, wrens, chickadees, Cardinals etc., and none of them will eat whatever that is, not even Jays. No, we will not buy it again. We thought that we had finally found a mix that had plenty of nuts and sunflower hearts, which is what the birds love, but whatever they did to those particular nuts made the birds hate them.I, personally, am disgusted with the companies that make these bird seed mixtures filling them with corn and other fillers that attract the kind of birds that attract troublesome birds. Why are we paying for fillers that end up on the ground or attracting troublesome birds??We also will not buy seed that contains added vitamins and minerals. There is no need to add those substances if the birds are consuming their natural diet. Over 90% of the vitamins and minerals sold in the US are synthetic and processed in china. They don't have to tell you about that as long as they are not sourced in china. The body does not assimilate synthetic vitamins. Most of it is just passed out of the body but because much of the food sold in the US is highly processed, like breads and cereals, by the time the grains go through processing there is no nutritional value left of what was once food. The food corporations have to make it look like they are selling you something nutritional, however, those synthetic products are not helping anyone, not the people and not the animals so WHY are they now putting this fake nutrition in bird seed??

Great quality birdseed, lots of nuts and seeds. I will definitely buy it again.
