Mount Hood Trilby Straw Hat

I wouldn’t wear this as a hat when I’m out and about. It is good for a themed parties

I like lots of things, that's probably not an incorrect statement but irrelevant to this product review.As far as this hat goes I like it too, and that is particularly relevant to this postingIt fits well, when I wear it on my head and as a hat. It's light enough and plenty of ventilation means my balding, ok bald, dome has not yet felt too hot whilst wearing this garment. I don't think it would work well as a replacement for a long distance articulated vehicle but it does work well as a hat, just consider what you are purchasing this for.The straw is well woven and the hat has kept its shape well over a good 7 wearings so far. I have not put it on my dogs cranium yet so have no idea how it would work for her particular breed and size of dogShade cover is good as it fits nicely down above the eyesAll in all I am pleased with this

I've had three of these over the past year and whilst the fit is fine and the look is good they become very brittle and usually end up with a hole in the front or bjust fall apart.

A very stylish, tendy, retro piece of headgear. Light and comfortable to wear it serves to keep the blazing sun - whenever it appears - from burning your scalp through rapidly thinning hair! Must be worn at a rakish angle, as you imagine strolling along the Corniche in the South of France on the pull!

The hat is slightly creased on the right hand side and there's a tiny bit of straw that's broken from it.

I chose small as I am a small person but this hat was way too tight. Also seems a bit high on my head even when pulled right down.
