HiViz MPB-TAC Snap-On Tactical Shotgun Front Sight - Interchangeable LitePipes for 12-Gauge Plain Barrel Shotguns

I put this on my old Mossberg 590 Clean House, it just snapped on in seconds, and you line it up with the front bead. You will instantly have a high visible sight for fast target tracking, it makes getting on target so much quicker. At first I thought it would look kind of cheap on my shotgun, but it actually went well with the Mossberg's tactical look. Seems to stay in place even after repetitive shots, but I do find myself checking it from time to time just to make sure. It comes with 4 different light tubes, 4 different colors, 2 in small dot and 2 in large dot, I went with the fat bright orange because my vision isn't what it use to be. For the price, it's a nice up grade, whether you're shooting skeet or for tactical use.

I've bought five sights for each of my 12 gauge shotguns. They are a great improvement over the bead sight. The package includes several different colored plastic tubes which are easy to change so you can have a yellow, green, orange or red sight. The device snap on easily and is secure but I do use a piece of electrical tape in ensure the sight doesn't get moved.

Such a simple simple design that work near perfectly. You take the sight and literally push it down onto the barrel......and that’s it ! So easy to install. Highly recommend for home defense setups or night shooting.My only issue is that the sight becomes ever so slightly off center after maybe 12 birdshot shells but who cares your shooting a shotgun !

I had a hard time picking up the brass bead on my Mossberg, so I researched alternatives. However, I wasn't sold on the idea of removing the brass bead. So, when I saw this one, I thought it would be a nice way to try a fiber optic before removing the brass. I'm no longer planning on removing the brass bead and this one will stay on the shotgun. I don't have the greatest eyesight. However, I can pick up this fiber optic quickly and accurately. Install is simple-it clips on and centers on the existing bead. I was surprised how well it attaches for being a clip-on unit. I've fired up to 150 mixed shells of 2.75" slugs, 00 Buck, 000 Buck, and #4 buck in a session without it moving. If they made this type of unit for rifles-I would add it to all of mine.

This is my go-to shotgun for home protection given its reliability, durability, and ease of use. The only fault it had was the small brass bead used as a front sight. It was not easy to pick up in dimmer light situations. That problem was easily rectified by snapping on this HIVIZ Mpb Tactical Plain Barrel Green shotgun sight. It comes with 4 litepipes, 2 in green and two that are red. I prefer the green. The large glowing sight is so much easier to pick up and place on target at night. This is a great, effective, simple value added solution. Highly recommended.

It's an easy to see sight, hence the name. Fast, easy to attach to the barrel. Only things I have concerns about. There is NO spring metal as implied, just plastic. It also can twist on the barrel once it's in place. You have to make sure that the fiber optic sight is in line. I plan to lock it in place with some clear shipping tape. That will hold it in place and easily replaced after cleaning.

I looked at several of the different versions selling here on Amazon, and almost all reviews were for the Mossberg shotgun with a bead only front sight. My Remington has a bead but it's mounted above a 1/4" (approx) wide ramp so a small notched end to accept only a bead wouldn't work. The picture showed what looked like a square notch so I took a chance and ordered it. The picture is correct and fit the squared off ramp perfect. This fitting is absolutely necessary to keep the sight aligned. I am not gluing it........as I've seen some mention - (OMG). Sight snaps in place and will stay attached unless you were to hit it directly on something. I admit, it's not an accessory I'd use out in heavy brush because it doesn't take a hammer blow to knock it off - but for a home or self defense gun it will work just fine. For the money and simplicity I give it 5 stars.

We had just got a few short barrelled shotguns and needed to replace the bead front sights. We ordered the new sights through a police supply company and found the sights to be FANTASTIC! They really are HVIZ even in a room with no lights on! Out in the sun light the sights glow as if they had batteries in them. they are very easy to install, just find a good strong glue and you will be placing slugs in the five ring every time! The sights come in a package of four sights, all in day-glo colors. Very bright even on over cast days or in the middle of the night. We have been very happy with this product!

Do not hesitate on deciding which fiber optic sight to buy. This is the one you want!!! I'm own most of the top fibre optic sights on the market and this one is a jewel to use and own. I'm buying a half dozen of these for all my plain barrel .12 and .20 Ga shotguns. The installed green fibre optic very nearly can be used in a dark room. It's one of the highest quality fibre optic sights for working in low light conditions. In bright light it comes alive and is a beacon you just cannot miss seeing and lining up great shots. You'll want one on all your plain barrel shotguns once you own one of these. I have quite a few shotguns, so I can assure you these work on just about any Remington, Mossberg, Baikal, Winchester, Cooey, Ithaca, H&R, New England Arms, Browning, Stevens, Hatsan, and Savage. So if it fits all of them, it's pretty much going to fit any plain barrel in those Gauges mentioned. It fits snuggly and doesn't budge or move one bit from the firearms recoil. Even with 3 1/2 in BB Mag rounds. I can't fault it one bit. The other 3 included fibre optic colours is another bonus that will keep me coming back to just this company. Now to buy one for every single plain barrelled shotgun I own. This is going to be expensive, but so worth it.

Really bright. Never tried the other colours it comes with because I like the green. Fits snug on M590A1 even though its 3 times the thickness of a standard barrel. Only gave it 4 stars because I had to notch the front with a razor to keep it in line with the bead. Other then that awesome bright replacement for the standard bead sight.

Unit fits very tight on sxp barrel, can't see it moving around, but time will tell. Only shouldered with the green insert, very bright, way faster reference than bead alone.

Fantastic product. Lights up like a flashlight in high levels of light. Moderately bright even in low light conditions. Easy to install and the multiple colors of light tube are a huge bonus. Absolutely recommend.

Bought for my Winchester 2200, I have not fired it yet but I'm pretty sure it's going to fly off on the first shot, it snapped on way to easy, it take almost no pressure applied to it to pop it off, it also spins on the barrel. You need to have a front bead for this sight to stay on the gun, but the notch is huge and I can see how it's just going to move around in the slot. I had high hopes that this was going to work, but feel like I wasted my money.
