Our rental house the crank windows and this saved us from having to make any major changes when using our portable air conditioner. Make sure you wipe down the window sill before applying the velcro. Ours lasted all summer with no problems.

I used this product to attach to my portable air conditioner.

Super easy to install and works great! I am a renter, and while I can cut the window and go with the plexiglass option, it's more expensive than I would like while I'm renting. The apartment is really old, built sometime in the 50's, so as you can imagine, I had to get creative in order to make it work. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is pretty thin plastic so it probably won't work the best as far as insulation and would probably rip pretty easily but putting it in it didn't rip and I don't plan to handle it much so it should be fine. The seal between the hose for the ac and the plastic isn't great either. I used the weather stripping that came with the original window kit to create a better seal.

No issues, used all summer of 2019

Amounted to a couple of pieces of thin plastic and a roll of tape. Useless. No instructions or how to fabricate the seal was included at all. You should be ashamed to put your name on a product this lousy.

Worked perfect and very easy to install.

States maximum window size but cant be adjusted for smaller windows either. No instructions with it. No way to custom fit it to the window. Useless.

This product is impossible to seal completely which allowed bugs in my window!

Was not what I expected

This works so much better than cardboard! I moved into a new house and need the air conditioner before I can get a new window. This is perfect! I watched a YouTube video and boom, it’s up and now no cats can escape out the gaps, I still get light through the window and it’s unobtrusive. Just a little whit parachute material blocking out the hot air.

OVERALL : Work Well. The product is water-proof, with no breaches, zippers work well. Took some time to figure out how to install this, but it works well in the end. The only thing is It was too small, so there is a breach on one side, which I had to tape to avoid insects coming in. ALSO, if it’s cold outside and you prefer to open the window, you can’t put a mosquito net. So no air comes in from the windows. It’s kinda seal so no fresh air coming in

would recommend this product. At first I thought I wouldn't have enough velcro but had more than enough. Was easy to install and keep the hot air from the A/C exhaust out!

I have a 35x35 window that I bought this for.Installation was a simple process. That was a plus.However there are many cons to this product:1) The adhesion (even on a new cleaned window) is terrible. We were out for the day and came home with the tape hanging off and a bunch of bugs in our house. Also since there was no seal the AC unit was running non-stop for 5 hours wasting ~5kwh of energy.2) Despite the tape issue, the zipper design leaves a good 1inch gap on either side of the exhaust tube.3) The material is very thin and un insulated so it does not keep the heat out well. I had to cover the window with a thick blanket to keep some of the heat out.Sadly, with all the waiting for delivery, I am now having to return this wasting more energy.
