Since Red's being Irish was only just basic character background information and really had no impact on the story whatsoever, changing this so that the perfect actor for the part could play him was of no consequence to the story and strengthened the film enormously.The other change involved the disposition of one character and the change only made the impact of one of the best endings in movie history that much stronger.Everything about the movie, from the excellent cinematography to the superlative casting, the pitch perfect pacing, and even the emotionally evocative musical score by Thomas Newman created the identical feel and atmosphere of reading the book itself.This movie was clearly a labor of love by a filmmaker who worked his tail off to translate a book he adored as faithfully as possible into a movie--and he did a truly magnificent job, succeeding at it more beautifully than I could have imagined in my wildest dreams."The Shawshank Redemption" is so beloved by fans that it has also become the one movie most often shown on television.But, please see the 4K version. I have used this for about 3 weeks now and I can tell such a difference in my skin and how tight my face is and how smooth and shiny. My skin feels so much better. I use this about 3-4 times a week for about 5 minutes. It has worked so well getting my neck to be tight and firm. It also helps with getting rid of your double chin.

I love how my skin feels after massage. I used it only few times but I love how my skin feels already. It has multiple modes, even for wrinkles and pores. My favorite are brightening mode, red therapy and cold mode - it feels like Krio therapy and I love it. Very easy to use and maintain. After you fully charge it, it lasts for a while. Up to a week

What is not to love about this movie? Two great actors and such a great story. I love the message in this movie. Never give up! Could watch it a million more times.

We wanted to watch it the night before going to the Ohio State Reformatory for a tour of where this movie was filmed. Glad I found it so quickly and easily on Amazon!

A short story turned into a two-plus hour film of such brilliance ... plus you have Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. If you have not seen this movie, buy it - you'll watch it again and again. If you have seen this movie - what are you waiting for, buy the damn things already ... you know you want it.

Je l'ai vu au moins 20 fois depuis que chui tout petit et jamais je m'ennui. Le film à ses moment drôle et asser dramatique. Je préfère lui que c'eux avec Dwayne Johnson et Kevin Hart, selon moi ces pas Jumanji. Je le reccomande à tout c'eux qui se cherche un classique.
